Gayle must have heard a lot about Junaid Khan from his RCB teammate Virat Kohli. And now he knows why!

Akmal with every shot in the book but little temperament, such a shame; what could have been....In this format he rules though.
Open with him in ODIs with 2 fielders outside and watch.

Don't know if his game suits that position, no.3 or no.4 is perfect for him imo.
Good Tait on show tonight so far, Afridi picked inconsistent guys like himself in Tait and Wahab.
People said the same about Rohit. When you have people like Shehzad opening, whats the harm in trying him?
Lahore doesn't have the bowling to contain the Zalmis.
Guess we can make Hafeez open with Akmal at 3 and Babar at 4Shehzad is god awful but we need to find someone who is best equipped for the opening slot, no harm in trying I guess but I don't think Akmal himself prefers opening himself. Rohit relished the opportunity and in recent times has proven he is on another level. Each player is different, if the move was successful for Rohit it won't necessarily be the same for UA. He should be given an extended run with a permanent role no.3/4 in ODI/T20 and no.6 or no.7 in Test Cricket not that am making excuses for his failures thus far given his lack of accountability. In the end irrespective of what role is given to him be it opener or the stuff I've mentioned, until he takes some accountability and acknowledges he needs to improve we won't see much progress.
seems to be working pretty well for him. no?
Two full tosses missed out from that Junaid over
