Just looking at stats alone does not tell enough, just watching him bowl, he looks shot and is a far cry from the bowler that he once was. Other Sri lankan bowlers looked more capable of taking wickets. Sri Lanka need to move on from him, if he is ineffective now then how will he be effective in the 2019 WC?

Obviously over the hill and struggling with fitness and injuries but the sad thing is that he's still the best we've got and quite comfortably too. Test bowling post Herath and LOI bowling post Malinga will be scary times
