This is a short review of my M&H Amplus 2.10oz.

This bat is huge and at the same time gives a fantastic pick and feel. It has 8 awesome and straight grains and has absolutely unbelievable power it is just simply awesome It has a counter balance on the handle not to sure if this helps pick up but I highly recommend M&H for their quality and service.

This bat is probably one of the best bats I have ever swung and when you take this beast out to bat with you fieldsman and bowlers alike look to run and hide. The bat comes standard with a oval 3 spring handle and is the same handles that Newbery use which means they are the best around.

Thanks for this as well! Looks massive!

How big are the edges? The bat is seriously meaty! It is more of a weapon than a bat I'd say :))

Counter balance does help pickup in one way or another, it looks good and well made I'd say.

High sweetspot I reckon very good bat for Oz pitches?

I have Harlequin and that apparently has a high middle but when you play with it you realize it has got a very long sweetspot.

MASSIVE!!

Can I ask how much did it set you back?

What is that black thing? What does it do?

$500 usd delivered worth every cent.

The black thing is a counter balance used to increase the pick up of the bat, the counter balance weighs around 2oz so assists in pick up you will see the same thing on Jacques Kallis's bat.

Thank you!

Does the counter balance affect your bat grip in any way when you are holding it?

I saw one of these yesterday, was 2lb 11oz. . . .i wasnt overly impressed by it. . . .in terms of size. . . it did make a crisp sound though, each time the batsman middled it.

i dont know, it just didnt do it for me, it is a swollen version of the harlequin. John have you ever been tempted to see what is below the tape or counterbalance ? my money is on cut grips.

Yes mate I have taken it off and it is high density rubber cap combined with a cloth tape. Weighs around 2oz.
