What is your one bold cricket prediction for the year ahead?

Could be a “hot take”, something a bit more serious, or just a bit of fun.

How about… England will regain the Ashes! :P
 
England will beat Australia 4-1 in the Ashes. Harry Brook will be the player of the series.
 
Sri Lanka will win a test in New Zealand and India will win an ICC trophy after a ten-year drought.
 
The ODI WC gets moved from India.

Or India tours Pakistan for the Asia cup.

One of these will happen.

Just like Jason Roy was supposed to dominate Aus in the Ashes post the 2019 WC.

This is pretty much the same English side that lost 1-0 to the Windies. Now that Aus has gotten rid of Paine and hopefully the perennial English failure in Warner by then, Aus will only be stronger.
 
India will beat australia at home and lose both the finals of world cup and the test championship. England will win the ashes and Pakistan will lose a few more bilaterals at home.

You wasted 2 mins of your life (or maybe more) because you don’t understand the theme of the thread. It is about “bold” predictions, not safe or realistic predictions.

5. Yashasvi Jaiswal would make his test debut and would be considered one of the best young batsman by end of the year

6. Asia Cup 2023 will be moved to UAE

7. Ramiz Raja will be removed as PCB chairman

8. Pakistan will travel to India for the ODI world cup. India would play England in final and home team to win it

9. Kane Williamson, Joe Root, Steve Smith to retire from ODI cricket after world cup

10. India will allow foreign players to play in domestic cricket (Ranji trophy, Duleep etc.)
