Who on earth did this? Are we living in the stone age? Extremely poor move. The government also has the job of helping society advance, not making become further repressed.

I think it is a good move. We were supposed to an Islamic state with Islamic laws. Male MPs have no business entering a girls school.

Mind you there may be a background to this. There may have been issues in the past hence this was decided.

This. If you want to be an Islamic State then be an Islamic State like SA etc. Religion and progressiveness simply do not go hand in hand. It becomes very tricky and embarrassing trying to justify one's standing as a "Moderate" Muslim after a while. It just reeks of hypocrisy.

I was quite apprehensive when IK started all the Madina Ki Riyasat narrative which he should have refrained from, seeing that the majority are the illiterate, uneducated, brainwashed masses and he could have just left totally left religion out of politics. But he didn't and now he will have to compromise on every stance regarding religion whether it is right or wrong.

Also it's quite hilarious how the memo says how the "competent" authority is "pleased" to impose this ban.
