Mardan man arrested for assaulting, murdering eight-year-old girl

MENAFN - Tribal News Network) MARDAN: The body of a missing nine-year-old girl was found in Mardan on Friday.

Police said Muhammad Iqbal, a resident of Janabad area situated at Mardan-Nowshera Road, filed a report that he took his nine-year-old daughter to shop along with him on Thursday afternoon and gave her soap to take it home from shop. He said when he reached home he came to know that his daughter did not arrive home. He said he searched his daughter, Maha, everywhere and his relatives and neighbours also helped him in the search, but she was not found.

On Friday, the body of the girl stuffed in a gunnysack was found in a pond in Surkh Dheri area. Muhammad Iqbal said he had no enmity with anyone.

The body of the girl was shifted to Mardan Medical Complex for post mortem. From there, the body was shifted to Khyber Medical University Peshawar to ascertain whether the girl was sexually abused before murder.

The facility of forensic laboratory is also available at Bacha Khan Medical College in Mardan. However, police were not satisfied with its report in the murder case of a little girl Iqra. Therefore, police has decided to send the body to Khyber Medical University.

Mentally challenged girl sexually abused in Nowshera

Police have arrested an accused allegedly involved in sexual abuse of a 12-year-old mentally challenged deaf and dumb girl in Misri Banda area of Nowshera.

Police presented the accused before the judicial magistrate on Friday who handed over him to police on two-day remand.

Misri Banda Police said that on March 23, the accused went to the house of the mentally challenged girl Saba Gul who was alone in the house and sexually abused her. Police had immediately arrested the accused Shah Asim and presented him in the court of judicial magistrate.

The father of the victim girl said the accused belongs to an influential family and his family also have links in police. He demanded justice for his little girl. He said his little handicapped girl was subjected to sexual abuse in a brutal manner by the accused. He said the accused must be given exemplary punishment.

A man was arrested for raping and then murdering an eight-year-old girl in Mardan’s Sheikh Maltoon Town on Saturday, the police said.

The man worked for the victim’s father. “He put her body in a sack and then threw it in a storm water drain near her house,” DPO Sajjad Khan revealed in a press conference.

“The post-mortem report revealed that the victim had been raped,” he said. The suspect admitted to his crime in police custody and said he was ashamed of what he did.

A joint investigation team had been formed to investigate the case, the police added.

I think these kinds of sick individuals should be publicly humiliated first, hang them and then slowly torture them to death.

Torture them for a couple of days, let them recover for a week and torture again. I hate these kind of animals. Rape case went up in Bangladesh as well. It's just sad.

Ofcourse they won't. But a lot of people in the last thread seemed to draw connections between the two. Fact is rape is done by sickos, who'd rape women even if they wore niqaabs.

I hope this little girl's killer spends every second of this life in painful misery.
