Thankfully a major disaster averted. Such a big fire could easily led to more casualties.

Given the amount of poor people in India, Government should plan to have much safer make-shift homes in major cities. Have seen this often where floods and other major disaster comes and people struggle to get a place to live for a few days.

China constructed makeshift hospitals in less than 2-3 days during Covid. We should learn from those scenarios. A planned make-shift homes will be much safer to control and avert such disasters. We seriously need to improve planning in urban areas to accommodate the influx of migrants. Cant blame the migrants for they are just looking for a livelihood.
