Hussain Talat is a very good prospect already did good in the PSL. Why discarded him.

There will be more. Scout them. Sharjeel Khan was rotting in domestics for YEARS. Despite great list A stats .

This has been a horrible tournament but disagree that this has been our worst performance. We have not won a bilateral ODI series against Eng, NZ, SA and Aus for many years. We have gone out first rounds in World Cups. We have not reached finals of many Asia Cups. So, this is all relative.

Have to agree with this. Top 5 teams are persisting with batsmen with min SR of 90 with ability to accelerate to 100-120 plus at the end of the innings or a few batsmen who can blast at 120-150 plus from ball one.

We have too many 90's style batsmen. This series has exposed everything.

We got destroyed by an Indian team twice that had no Virat Kohli. And we just got humiliated by a Bangladesh side that didn't feature both Tamim and Shakib.

It's frustrating because we have been developing this ODI team for the past 2 years for the WC. It's too late now to make the wholesale changes that some of the fans are demanding.

Hassan Ali and Shadab Khan have regressed from a year ago. Faheem and Nawaz are bits and pieces. Sarfraz does not merit a selection and Amir has been non existant.

We just have to hope this wake up call will get some better performances.

My brother, the three names you mentioned to stay would never get into the top 5 teams in the world as their top 3. They are all too slow. Fakhar is supposed to be our aggressive opener. His aggressive is going and a sr of 100-110, that’s just about acceptable

Saying we can't make changes is a myth. In Cricket you play in form players, we can't carry out of form players, players devoid of confidence and players showing zero improvement in the team when there are others in the bench.

If you have been out of form for a while, you get dropped and go back to sort out your game and improve and earn a recall.

Sarfaraz has been a non performing captain for a while whose own place in the team is rightfully under question.

Honestly, Razzaq had a point. Mickey doesn't know about our cricket. He never picks spinners and we'll keep losing unless he does.

The weak link in the team is Sarfraz. His captaincy is poor, and also has a negative affect on the team when he consistently shouts. I don't even need to discuss his batting. He needs to go, and take Amir, Asif, and Imam with him. Yes Imam, even though its unlikely since he's CS nephew, but he is a minnow basher, never plays good against quality sides like India or New Zealand. We need Kamran Akmal back. His WK might not be the best, but at least as an opener he was able to play several good innings. Even Mohammad Hafeez is useful at #6. Lets face it. Management was right. Senior players and experience do matter, maybe not entirely 100%, but they are important. A mixture of young and experienced players is essential, and Shoaib Malik to lead. You might ask, doesn't that push us backwards? And I say no. Why? Because everyone in the locker room looks up to him, and since he's the most consistent and driven, he should be captain. My team for the World Cup.

Can't blame Mickey alone. I do agree he isn't the best mind to play Asian game (spin play/attack), but he has improved in lots of areas of PCT.

Personally, I think the 2nd most damage is done by Inzamam, as CS. Obviously, there is a massive gap in skill level from the best in world, but within that limitations, I do believe better squad can be formed.

The biggest damage is of course to appoint a WK as Captain, who is struggling with almost everything in cricket - his core job, his batting, his fitness, his tactics, his on/off field behavior, his team selection ......

Kamran Akmal ( how matches did he play so far, over 100 how many times he won matches for us vs lost it for us. His batting, he is over 34 come on bro these guys destroyed Pak cric they never let any youngster groom and gave them a chance)
Shoaib Malek captain ( bro he doesn’t even play test cric who you going to pick for test then create a rift next World Cup will be his last, than what? Change captain before the World Cup which is less than a year away)
Harris sohail ( he isn’t the middle order batsmen we need, we need to bring in a solid middle order batsman)
Mohammed Hafeez ( for how long, before ct this wouldn’t hit boundaries it use to take 20-30 balls just to settle in he isn’t meant to play on number )
Imad Wasim ( we missed the trick with him in this tournament but he failed fitness test )
We need another solid spinner like Raza Hassan ( but his attitudes suck)
We need solid middle order batsman wouldn’t mind trying Azhar Ali at one down with Asif and Fakhar opening together
