The pakistan flag made its glorious appearance on the silver screen on a number of occasions, however the India flag was barely present, at best it might have been shown a bit vaguely for a couple of segments but the Pakistan flag was flying vibrantly throughout this landmark movie.

Surely, this can’t have been a coincidence, after the humiliation in the geopolitical sphere, India perhaps is no longer regarded as a major player among the nuclear armed states and thus has been relegated in both formal & informal channels.

This has to be a big blow for India because they rely on the perception that they are a super-power, and Hollywood is not able to conjure this image for them after the recent defeats of their armed forces.

Lol I haven't see it yet. Plan on seeing soon though. Kashmir made an appearance in another Mission Impossible movie too from what I remember. I think it was the one before the last one.

They have done a really good job turning around the franchise since 2015. I think Tom Cruise probably deserves over 90% of the credit.

Though I really love the first one and Mission Impossible 3 too.

India is mostly good at providing cheap labor as they have a very large population. Other than that, they are irrelevant. :inti

Their military (particularly air force) is a big joke as proven from recent conflict. They lost 6-7 jets in 2 days which was unprecendented considering it was a small skirmish. They also conceded 2000 sq km of territory to China since 2020.
 
This is because India is not known in the world for military strength as an Asian country , Pakistan is.

India in the west is known as the center for hippies who want to do drugs and meditate for a few mins then come back to America and say “I have become enlightened” but they’ve really only become lightened after few days of diarrhea from eating street pav bhaji.

Same. Have seen the first five. 1 3 and 4 were pretty good. But they're a bit formulaic and I've always preferred the Bourne series over them apart from Legacy.

I hate how the Oscar’s overlook the output in the Action genre because he deserves it for his work on more than a couple of occasions, in the CGI era, he’s keeping the true theatre experience alive.

That cheap labour is what it says on the tin, cheap. Whenever you need some dogs to do a bit of dirty work you know where to look but have to accept that quality is not going to be there. And the less said of their military the better, they can have all the toys but they just don’t have the DNA.

Philip Seymour Hoffman in Mission Impossible 3...has to be one of the best action movie villains ever. He was one hell of an actor. Sorely missed.

As for the Oscars, honestly I stopped caring about them long ago. It's just a dog and pony show at this point where they routinely hand out awards to mediocre films and try to pat themselves on the back for making the safest, most inoffensive political statements. It's all about how much money you spent 'campaigning for your film' i.e. bribing the Academy. All while a large section of independent films get completely ignored simply because they didn't have the money to 'campaign.'

I don’t see anyone denying India has surged ahead of Pakistan, and with good reason. But you are incompetent clowns by nature and which is why despite an 8x the defense budget, you have to rely on an aggressive media campaign to prove you ‘won’ the war against a bankrupt failed state. You lot ended up giving Pakistan credibility as a threat in the region, while no one outright stood up for you like China and Turkey did for Pakistan.

Infact, it took one phone call from Trump for the ceasefire to happen.

Nothing to do with Modi jee. Pakistan has been doing terrorist attacks in India from mid 1990s. There was no Modi jee when 26/11 happened in Mumbai na? Those terrorists are still roaming freely in your country na?

This is where you start connecting the dots, that how small colonial powers managed to subjugate a vast and ancient civilization like India. It was the presence of internal Vibhishans ready to trade their allegiance for personal gain. Sadly, that legacy still lingers.

Because Trump’s statement has been backed by international media, while your sources have been backed by the likes of Arnab Goswami only.

Rather than getting triggered, fix your in-house media first next time so that they don’t humiliate themselves like they did in this entire saga.

And the same international media also reported Modi refuting.

Even after losing the Kargil war, I recall Vertical Limit having a pro Pakistani message in the start, where the exact words were
“It’s time to wake India up, and then a blast happens”.

Truth is this:
Pakistan to increase its defence by 20% , any country that is going to have such huge defence will obviously be loved by Lockheed Martin etc who are influential, so these things will continue.

Tomorrow if Pak increases by another 30% , I can see Brad Pitt wearing the Pakistani Army uniform.

the homework is for you to crack the "logic" behind how your fellow jihadi's in India would like to have carte-blanche rights to indulge in un-fettered bigotry and intolerance against Hindus and demand no adverse consequences ... because afterall in your mind you are the "Chosen" kaum that could do no wrong.
