We've witnessed Mo Salah and Cristiano Ronaldo achieve increadible feats in the English Premier League, but who has the better legacy?

Here are some basic stats for context: Ronaldo has scored 142 goals in 330 games for Manchester United, whereas Salah has 187 goals in 307 matches for Liverpool. But basic stats like these can never reveal the full impact of a player. What do you think?

Ronaldo, the guy who won multiple premier leagues and the ballon dor playing in the premier league. Of course, the stat padders will say Salah because he has scored more goals.

Ballon d'Or definitely swings it in Ronaldo's favour.

Premier League its Salah.

But of course Ronaldo is the GOAT due to his incredible days at Real.

Well comparison between the two players depends on personal preferences but there's no denying that Ronaldo is a true great of the game because of his massive experience.

Mo Salah!!
Mo Salah and Cristiano Ronaldo have made their marks in the Premier League. Salah's scoring talent really came through when he scored a record 32 goals in one season, while Ronaldo secured three league titles with Man United. They're both great I guess, in different ways.

Egypt’s management have played down any security concern over Mohamed Salah, despite images appearing to show the forward being escorted off the pitch by the military during the nation’s win over Sierra Leone.

Looked like fanatic fans. Salah is huge in most parts of Africa.

Well handled by the security and cops...apart from punching some of them in the head. :)

How Salah's stats rank among Premier League greats

Another week, another Mohamed Salah show.

The Liverpool forward scored another two goals in Sunday's 6-3 demolition of Tottenham in the Premier League to overtake Manchester City's Erling Haaland in the race for the Golden Boot.

On top of his 15 goals this campaign, Salah also tops the charts for assists, with two on Sunday for the league leaders taking him to 11.

The Egypt star is now on course to repeat his 2022 feat of winning both the Golden Boot and Playmaker awards.

While Salah's Anfield future remains a big subject for debate - his contract expires this summer - he continues to break records.

But where does the 32-year-old rank when it comes to all-time Premier League great forwards?

Former Newcastle, Man City and Aston Villa goalkeeper Shay Given told BBC Match of the Day: "He's unbelievable. He's a special, talented player.

"The big news around him is if he is going to stay or go. I don't think they can afford to let him go."

Is Salah set for greatest individual Premier League season?

There seems no stopping Liverpool or Mohamed Salah this season.

The Reds are 11 points clear of Arsenal at the top of the Premier League as they look to become champions for the 20th time.

Egypt forward Salah has been integral in that success and again played a starring role with a goal and an assist in Liverpool's 2-0 win at reigning champions Manchester City on Sunday to continue his incredible form in 2024-25.

But is the 32-year-old on course for the best individual campaign since the Premier League era began in 1992?

We take a look at the stats to see how he compares to other great strikers and what records he could break.

Salah has won the Golden Boot as the league's top scorer three times (outright in 2017-18 and shared in 2018-19 and 2021-22) and is leading the race this season.

His best campaign featured 32 goals, but he could beat that in the next few months.

He has 25 goals in 27 games - six clear of Newcastle's Alexander Isak and Manchester City's Erling Haaland, the player who won the award in the past two seasons.

Haaland's 36 goals two seasons ago is a Premier League record, although no-one will probably ever pass Dixie Dean's incredible 60 league goals for Everton in 1927-28.

Only Arsenal's Thierry Henry has been top scorer in four seasons of the Premier League, while only Jimmy Greaves at Chelsea and Tottenham in the 1950s and 60s (six) and Derby County's Steve Bloomer in the 1890s and 1900s (five) have been top more often in the English top flight.

In the 'big five' leagues (Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga and Ligue 1), Salah is again top, four goals ahead of Bayern Munich's Harry Kane and Atalanta's Mateo Retegui and five clear of Barcelona's Robert Lewandowski.
