Salaam guys hope you are well in sha Allah

Met Mohammad Amir and wife today who arrived to London for a family visit... Both very humble and nice.

Yes they were made to wait in a seating area for 10mins and then cleared to go.

Helped Amir with his bags and trolly this evening as they were stuck near the exit of Arrivals.. He said he will leave for West Indies on the 30th March

"No issue at airport, going to sue every single person who's brought this false news": Mohammad Amir

So there have been some rumours going around that Amir was 'detained' today at Heathrow - he was on his way to meet his wife's family.

He was not detained... But held up in a waiting area for 10mins with his wife and cleared later..

:)) even if he was detained, big deal..

hope he performs in this series

Wish he was actually detained just to see his fans riled up.

Everyone appears tired at the airport. He is looking good and well.

At some point he has to start performing, so far he has being well short of everything... Length is little short, pace is yard short, body is short of where it should be, stamina is also short(70% there not 100%)...

I know we don't have a backup, but for Pakistan to be in top 3/4 sides, Amir (and or Somebody) has to start performing like Strac/Rabada/Cumins, otherwise we are not moving an inch from current standing

Pakistan's premier bowler. Haters act as if the likes of Rahat, Imran, Sohail, Wahab and Tanvir have been ripping through batting line ups for fun.

As they say haters gonna hate

:salute

Yeah the same bowler, who in his last ODI got spanked for 100 runs in 9 overs, had he bowled 10 overs he would had broken Wahab's record.
The same can be applied to Amir. He didn't pick up a single wicket across two tests.

if u count game to game record then what about amir..how many wickets he got in 7 psl matches...??? and tests and odi..can we compare it with hassan ali....you will find the answer,,

OK,If you want to compare overall records then see that Amir's bowling average in ODIs is 27.13 with an economy rate of 4.8,whereas Hasan has an average of 28.37 with economy of almost run a ball that is 5.93.Also in T20I Amir has an economy rate of 7 compared to Hasan's 9.54.So you can clearly see who is better.

amir post ban recor d in t20 is ..matches 13 wickets 11 with 7.04 economy..odi reocrd 14 matches 20 wickets, 31.05 and economy of 5.15...he is only better economy wise no 4 wickets i a match with best is 3 /28...now u bring forward hassan record......AMIR is rubbish post ban ..you have to accept ..

Haha.

Please pull up Amir's ODI statistics since his return.

I know...

Employing a method to make ArsalanPro see himself how rubbish Amir's been since his return.

In T20s,even post ban Amir has been better then Hasan as economy matters very much in this format,so how come he is the best, still I don't consider Amir the best and Imad is better then anyone in T20s.
In ODIs,after Amir's return the average difference is of only 2.75 in favour of Hasan and that can be accounted for so many dropped catches of Amir's bowling, also anyone visually saw them bowling together can say that Amir has more pace, swing and is seriously threatening with the new ball.

he has been rubbish in tests,,30 wickets in 11 tests with 41.60 average..

I also believe that in Tests he has not been same before the ban but he was playing after 6 years and was hurried back into the team because of the fact that our fast bowlers were so pathetic that a person that has not touched the ball for so many years was considered superior to them, still whenever he tried his heart out and found the edge, our jhonty rhodes dropped catches not once, not twice but near to 15 in half year and if you add that to your stats his average will be in low 20s which is brilliant for a returning bowler.

plz take these drop cathches out .hassan is playing in the same team with the same fielders....yes amir is the best fast bowlers for first two over the in the rest of the match he is ordinary..

If were talking about the ODI format it's best to stick with it. How many catches have been dropped off Amir in the aforementioned form of the game?

Mohammad Sami had more pace, swing etc. than Umar Gul, but you tell me whom was more succesful?

I'm presuming you didn't watch Hasan opening the bowling in the PSL because if you did you'd admit that Hasan outshined Amir in that department.

Muhammad Amir be like;

Uff yaar ye din be aaney the! Hassan ke saath 'muje', yaani ke 'Muhammad Amir' ko compare karahe hein, sigh!

So what if he is playing in the same fielders,If you see, most of the catches dropped of Amir have been in slip cordon where he due to his swing find edges whereas Hasan doesn't have that swing and get wickets of high flying catches which are easier to catch.

Hassan Ali is a very good bowler who gets really nice shape with new ball. I wasn't sure about his bowling early in his career but he certainly looks quality, Also has a bag of variations.

Complete bowler.

In ODIs too,I think 4-5 catches have been dropped.

hassan ali is our best bowler as far as odi and t20 are concerned..

Hassan Ali is indeed enjoying his game and one of our best options in LOIs.

No need to bash him. Amir, Hasan and Sohail Khan form an excellent pair that can win you matches on most occasions, IF our pathetic batting supports them.

You can call any 3 of them 'the best', based on who you like the most.

I rate Amir more because of his ability to bowl magic, 'ball of the decade' type deliveries, his skill to move it both ways, and he's a better Test bowler than those 2.

The only issue I have is with Amir haters, who flock to every thread and whine there. Which is fun to see. :srini
