Asif was definitely better. His control over the ball was magic. It's quite sad that he screwed himself. He would have been in the greats of the game.

Asif just, but never mind that imagine as a pair what they would have done had it not been for the spot fixing. Such a shame

:amir :asif

The biggest loss of Pakistan cricket in our entire cricketing history. The guy was insane. Won Pakistan many matches SINGLE-HANDEDLY.

Trundler Asif wasn't even a regular in LOs ...he was never fit to play for us in flat conditions of Pak

Asif, the way he manipulated the ball is something that can only be witnessed once in a blue moon.

Actually, Mustafizur is one whole word. :inzi

I'm surprised Bengalis don't call him Mustafijur. :shakib

But for the thread: Asif.

That accuracy, my word. He had a lazy elegance about him tbh, the first time I've said that about a bowler, as lazy elegance is usually associated with batsmen. Couldn't tell sometimes if he was taking himself seriously, but he truly let the ball talk, and I think he was certainly God gifted. A gift wasted on a guy who didn't value the gift at the end of the day.

But I already know what OP is tryna do.

Amir has never won us a match single handedly, Asif did that quite a few times.

Not seeing Asif in ODI cup was big disappointment, PCB did that deliberately, maybe they are too vary of his age which is 33/34 now. Maybe he does not have strong PR, I don't know what else could be [emoji848][emoji848][emoji848]

They learned from Aamir, once public see Asif bowling, they will be forced to select him...We all know how good he was, as a bowler, I know you don't loose your skill that much, injury is only thing that keeps you out...

Asif had exceptional skill not from just Pakistan but international level, you have to keep in mind there are fraction of seconds maybe 100/400 milliseconds when you use your wrist to get extra swing, wobble, bounce or direction of swing, it's very hard to control that moment, it requires lot of hard work, he had that better than anybody in green colors for atleast last 30 years with new ball!!!

Just taking a few lessons from the master:srini

Asif .

The way he swung both ways with accuracy was astonishing. This guy had great talent with new ball.
Its not easy , really disappointed .

Its a huge loss for cricket lovers. Asif was poetry in motion.

Amir was phenomenal but Asif was genius. There may be times where you'd pick Amir over Asif for instance LOI's but talent wise Asif shades it, poetry in motion at his pomp.

Asif was supremely talented so was amir both were excellent both are from my community I have soft corner for both but I think Asif was better than amir.

Easily Asif.

One of the highest bowling IQs this sport has ever seen. All he needed was 135 MPH to get elite batsmen chasing shadows.

A few years ago I would've said Amir, but having seen his development and comparing that with old Asif - its not even close. Asif is leagues ahead. Amir had the potential to be a better bowler, he hasn't lived up to it

Asif without a doubt.

Amir was only effective when condition was right. He was ordinary on flat tracks.

I'm actually surprise at the poll. Amir has half the votes as Asif. That's exaggeration.
