Currently he is playing for Pakistan A against Yorkshire in England, and not out on 88.

Playing a very good knock at the time when his team needed him.

I first saw him in Pakistan Cup 2016, though he didn't do great but some of his shots looked impressive to me.

In our country we aren't seeing new wicket keepers, or precisely new good WK batsman.

I hope this guy will be a nice inclusion to our WK crop.

Lovely innings from what I read - absolute positive if we can discover someone to push Rizwan and probably Sarfraz. Can only be good for Pakistan.

Yorkshire B team. WIll wait and see what he does against a same level opponent.

Can someone tell how good a keeper he is?
That's the most important thing.

Hopefully a good one. We need someone who has the batting skills of Sarfraz or Rizwan along with the keeping skills of perhaps Adnan Akmal.

Or Mark Boucher, but let's be realistic... :mc

Well done to the lad on his 1st knock on tour, playing in such conditions can only make players stronger and better players.

Not sure what to say atm, I don't like going on Pakistan domestic averages where legends like Imran Farhat rule the roost with 40+ averages, so have to take stats with a grain of salt, even if it is high 20s like it is for this guy.

With that said, he played in alien conditions albeit against random 20 year olds who are fringe players. Need to see more than 1 innings to judge. But nice solid innings nevertheless.

Tiny little lad. Very slim and looked ok behind the stumps.

3rd choice keeper behind Sarfraz and Rizwan ?

Could move up the pecking order with a good tour. Will now face Sri Lanka A in a couple of 4 day matches.

Wish he got a century today. Won't judge him until I have seen play a few games unlike experts above who are judging him without even seeing him play.

Good going by Mohammad Hasan as he scored 88 out of 181 for Khi Whites

He also scored 67 (out of 208) in the opening game.

The decision to give a central contract was a good one.

How he was not selected for the national t20 cup is beyond me.

Muhammad Hasan scored 125 of 163 balls today, fast and impactful inning by him.

Follows it up with an unbeaten century in the second innings, off 166 balls, to help his side secure an draw against SSGC. What's more is both times he came in when his side was in trouble (71-4 and 48-4).

Truly remarkable effort- he kept for 176 overs straight and batted for 4 hours in each innings either side of that.

Sarfraz Ahmed mentioned him by name when asked about bench strength for wicket keepers. I remember when he was picked by inzi for A tour of England and pp experts were digging up his stats and saying what a bad selection. Shows how much pp experts know and domestic stats don't mean everything.

It was a similar story when he was awarded a central contract last year too.

Sarfraz mentions his name but why not select him as back up? If Sarfraz gets injured we will be throwing a wolf into a lions den.

111 for M hassan proves Basit nepotism towards Shehzar

Highlights of his century today (weird camera angles though!)

Have always liked him. A bit like Moin Khan in terms of being hard to dispatch especially in counterattacks and collapses.

If only IU had given him some good chances to bring him into public eye through PSL. Sometimes I feel like our selectors only watch franchise cricket to select players and don't pay much heed to QEA trophy.
Usman Qadir, Haris Rauf, Hasnain, Musa, Abdullah Shafiq, Haider Ali, Zeeshan Malik, all have been brought into public eye through franchise t20s

Iftikhar, Fawad, Abbas, Khushdil, Bilal Asif have been some names that were picked up via domestic system even though Iftikhar and Khushdil were first picked up through Faysalbank/Nationalt20 cup. Bilal Asif got noticed by scoring a century there as well.

Even while back as 2012, we picked Nasir Jamshed after doing well in BPL.

Securing county contracts have become very difficult since 2010-present. Only Babar, Imad and a few others have played in it and majority only play vitality blast there only.

We don't even have much cricket during june-september due to summers being inconducive to cricket in Pakistan.
