Much better seam position with new ball for an outswinger by Hasnain which he has been working on for a year or so now. Needs to keep on working on that and in the mean time needs to start learning reverse swing. Sohail Khan is in his team who knows both the skills well and he should try to learn form him as much as he can.

As said before its high time for him to play a lot of longer formats matches to polish his game. He has the basics like height, pace and has improved his athleticism by leaps and bounds but he will need much more to have a successful international career and those things can only come with toil in 4 day cricket and practicing the skills in the nets. He is going in the right direction but needs to increase the development pace by playing longer formats in domestic.

Well said.
He is developing rhythm now, and isnt relying on strength/contraction to bowl fast. The action is also becoming repeatable as a result.

In a match where 418 runs were scored, 20 year old Mohammad Hasnain achieved figures of 3-28 from 4 overs. His wickets were Haider Ali, Shadab Khan and Rohail Nazir.

Very impressive bowling from him today.

He has perfect action for outswing .Shown glimpses of it in national t20 but need to play 4 day to polish his skill

Asked him today about what he's been doing of late regarding his action and run-up.

He said that previously he was over-thinking regarding his run-up and action - almost as if he was trying to think about it too much when he was bowling. Whereas now he's just trying to be a bit more natural.

Also he said that he was over-bowling in practice and just bowling ball after ball without focussing on the areas that he needed to improve. So in summary bowling less in practice, but making practice more useful.

I am not happy with his action, he releases the ball as if he is bowling an offspinner. He has not really excelled, developed or progressed compared to when he was first uncovered in the PSL.

Still can't bowl yorker consistently , his pace hasn't improved at all , and he still can't bowl an inswinger, her outswing has improved a bit and he can hit the length more consistently now, just a slight upgrade in all those months.

Disappointed by his progress thus far. He needs to be moulded into a speed demon, aswell as teaching him the smarts of bowling.

Right now he is doing nothing special in any department.

You don't become special overnight, he is very young and in learning mode. Atleast he is bowling in controlled manner, to his field and with good enough pace.

We want something like Nortje did last night, run in hard and bowl quick. Hasnain is capable of it, he has touched high speeds in his short career, but to see him not make progress is disappointing.

Atleast he could have increased his average speed by few Ks and would have learned how to bowl yorker consistently.

Patients he has lots to learn, still very young. Not many bowlers bowl express and good yorkers in the world. His body is developing, the coach may want him to learn other skills first. He also had some run up issues, so trying to rectify that. He should be able to crank it up later.

A nothing bowler tbh...just runs in & bowls fast - no thinking behind deliveries.

If he is bowling at 90mph thatd good enough thiers only a few who bowl at 93+ he needs to learn how to bowl a Yorker and swing the ball

Exactly people are expecting him to bowl faster and ball in swing and Yorker!
