Really impressed with his bowling in today's match against Japan U19 , has got high revs and sharp turn with good pace and accuracy and most importantly he is the only bowler in all these U19 teams who is getting consistent turn almost on every delivery in these non-favorable spin conditions and no other bowler was getting turn in these games at all apart from 2 or 3 balls in their entire spells.

Picked up his first international 5fifer today for just 8 runs. I think he is probably the brightest spin talent to came out from Pakistan since Yasir and Ajmal days.

He looks good and young as well.
I'm seeing replica of kuldeep yadav in his bowling. Hopefully he is taken care of by pcb

What a fantastic start for him. He looked in total control throughout the inning. Although it was Japan U19 but his line and lengths and accuracy was pretty good for a 16 year old boy.

Brilliant

Like London buses as they say, didn't have a single one for like 70 years, & now we have three representing the country at different levels.

I wish one of them has the ability, talent, mindset, & work ethic to become a proper 3 dimensional all-format cricketer. Don't want more PSL level cricketers who are just good enough for a season or two before they disappear into oblivion or stagnate.

I personally think he is more talented than Sufyan and Faisal as he got higher revs than these two with equal control over his line , length and pace.

On a similar pitch Ahmed Hussain only managed to turn 2/3 deliveries one of which being a superb googly where as Huzaifa turned 90% of his deliveries.

Talented young spinner.

Pakistan is producing all of these high-potential left arm wrist spinners out of nowhere.

Someone will come good eventually.

Mohammad Huzaifa, while talking to PCB media after his standout performance for Pakistan U19, taking an astonishing five wickets for just 8 runs in 6.3 overs against Japan U19 in ACC Asia Cup 2024:

"First of all, I thank Allah, who enabled me to perform well. I took five wickets; that was my goal."

"The simple plan was to hit the target, bowl on my line, and through that, we achieved success."

"The mindset I had was to bowl on my line."

"I was getting a good break on the wicket and I bowled well."

"The break was good, and the captain's instruction was that if we bowl on our line, Inshallah, we will bowl win."

"It was the first match, and the wicket was really good. My thought was to perform well."

"The performance I had today, I want to dedicate it to my father and mother."

Absolutely diabolical this kid is a reserve how can that nadeem khan play ahead of him is beyond me. I know it was japan but looks class

It’s a tough competition

naveed is also a good bowler who get some turn and can bowl high bounce top spin at high pace , suddenly the spin stocks looks good.

To be honest on these pitches even AM Ghazanfar is not getting much turn who is probably the most accomplished bowler in this tournament with International level experience so it’s good to see Huzaifa turning it even more than Ghazanfar.

Pak batters negotiated Ghazanfar in the tri series in all 3 games which tells you about how unfavorable the conditions are for spinners.

To be honest i havent been impress with Naveed. He is just an normal offie. In white ball you need a wicket taking option after your pacers and wrist spinners always are even they bowl loose stuff sometimes (i dont think this kid bowled one bad ball)

Mohammad Huzaifa (8/51) showcased brilliance with the ball for OGDCL, leading his side to triumph against Ghani Glass in President's Trophy Grade-1, 2025

Left arm China struggle because they bowl into the arc of the right handed batsman. History isn't very encouraging and only Yadav has made any lasting impact

This kid has carbon copy image if kuldeep and inshallah will succeed although i thought faisal akram would have by now. I know he is onl16 17 but dnt think he can bat can he seen his scorea in patrons and always came as number 11

History is against him and even Yadav has struggled at times. One thing for sure we need good spinners

He is already better than faisal Akram and is carbon copy of kuldeep.Watch out

Pakistan has a good crop of left farmers now... They just need to work hard and soon they will find a spot in the team like sufiyan.. Initial impression of huzaifa have been good.

its left arm unorthodox..just because western white countries were racist 80 years ago does not mean we should be too..

Right guys just seen the PCB highlights which i am HOPING they cant get wrong. The Mohammed Hufaiza who is playing first class now and got 6fer is NOT the kid. I was so excited thought the 16yr old Left wrist spinner who took 5fer for Pak under19s would be the one who playing 1st class but apparently it is some random pacer. All my excitement has disappeared.

Is it true?
