Both are great captains and two of the best cricketing minds we've had in recent times.
Sarfaraz was great but his time is done. Those saying he fluked his way to winning the CT, u-19 WC, No.1 ranking in T20s and 3 PSL finals can't explain why nobody else could do the same. This doesn't excuse his poor diet as captain but credit must be given where it's due but now it's time to move on from him.
Just because someone supports Sarfaraz doesn't mean you have to hate on Rizwan or vice versa. Rizwan is the best cricketer in the country at the moment and the only one who can stake a claim to be amongst the top 3 in the world at his role if not the best i.e keeper-batsmen, not even Babar or Shaheen are amongst the top 3 in the world in their respective roles as of yet.
Rizwan is a freak talent who people wrote off because he couldn't hit Starc, Hazlewood etc. out of the park from ball one in his very first innings in Australian conditions which shows a horrific lack of foresight. He will prove everyone wrong with his astute captaincy the same way he has by piling runs upon runs since his comeback into the team.
Rizwan is the leader Pakistan need and leadership brings the best out of him. He'll be a great successor to Sarfaraz who is one of the most decorated captains in our history during one of the worst times.
