Watching him bat of late has been painful.

The guy can barely hit the ball off the square these days.

No timing, no placement, no power.

I don't recall him struggling so much in the past.

Bhai pehle is pe ghussa ata tha but ab to Tara's anay lag gaya itne matches me banda kam az kam 1 achi fluke inning hi khel leta hai

He can't face any amount of pressure that's it, which means he is NOT AN INTERNATIONAL materiel.

Well this tournament should confirm that he isn't good enough for Pakistan.

His scores at the PSL so far:

10
2
32*
34
1

Total 79 runs
Average 19.75
Strike rate 97.53

And Bismillah Khan (wicket keeper) is outside of PSL while this guy is playing

After reading the heading I thought he probably hit a blistering fifty, but he is sinking even more.

He's the most clutch finisher Pakistan has. Needs to replace Sarfraz in all 3 formats and made captain immediately. Its a conspiracy against him, playing for Karachi Kings, the Karachi mafia must of threatened him. Hence his "amazing" performances are no where to be found.

I also asked myself what happened? He wasn't this bad in 2015. I remember how he smashed Malinga in 2015 and finished games for us.

He even hit a few decent fifties then before getting exposed to spin. But now? He looks worse than a tailender.

Shame, because he had a genuine shot at replacing Safaraz in time for the WC if he'd hit some form.

After scoring like Bradman against A teams he has looked like a tailender in internationals and in PSL.

There is something wrong. How can this happen as A teams' bowlers weren't that bad. Is it a confidence thing now that Pak cricket community is watching him.

Poor match awareness also today. Trying to go for a big shot when not really required. Seems like somebody who scores when the pressure is off but crumbles in televised games.

He is not the same batsman he was when he made his debut. Remember his debut match, he was timing the ball exceptionally and had a high backlift. His regressed so much and crouches.

He is pretty much the same as two years ago when he was part of the team in the Odis series vs Australia

Karma, that's what he gets when you mistreat your players. Batting saud at 7 in Pakistan A games.

I don't think anything has happened as such, this was always his level. A domestic giant who fails to make the step up to international cricket.

This. He hit some nice fifties. Smashed Malinga out of the park and now this ... unbelievable. That's why people here on PP used to call him a clutch batsman.

Reality Happened

He was always clueless from day 1. I said it from the start, he has major peoblems with the most basic thing: balance. He is always off balance when playing. You cant do anything without proper balance.
