Mohammad Siraj thanks Allah swt for success and riles up a few...

Meh.. these bigots are everywhere in these parts of the world.

Hindu cricketers like Liton often get abused in Bangladesh when they display their Hindu -ness..

Old news!

As an Indian, does a cricketer thanking Allah swt bother you? or do you feel proud of diversity? Do you have a view on this?

When 300 k people liked it, why to give headlines for idiots

The tweet is there for all to see.

Likes don't necessarily mean anything. It's the comments that matter. Many would have liked it as it had a pic of India winning the trophy.

Don't get offended if anything is spoken about India.

Either have a proper answer or don't bother posting.

I am surprised by this, 300k people liked Siraj's post and he has received lots of love by fans online and offline.

A few pathetic trolls abusing him online doesn't tell the entire story

Litton Dad's wife even got threats by Bangladeshi Fans

These type of people exist everywhere. Siraj did nothing wrong.

Similarly all those who get riled up here when Hindu cricketers thank their gods or visit places or worship or talk about their religion fall, do they fall in the same bigot category?

Don't see the connection.

We are talking about Siraj here.

You want to discuss the world?

And by the way, the reason for bringing up Hindu cricketers who thank God etc is to show some of our friends here who constantly harp on Pakistan cricketers doing Sajda etc that the same happens in your world too.

Topic is Siraj/India.

Seems to be on similar lines. Social media responses can easily be manipulated using bots and response farms. These operate on a commercial scale worldwide

In Shami's case many of the hate responses were noted to have originated from outside India, especially Pakistan.

All the time few idiots will be there and as it's social media it's easy to get away as anonymous. So instead of worrying and spoiling the happiness ,we should hope these idiots will learn something.

Abdul Kalam in his Autobiography mentioned that in Israel, they never write about the deaths in the first page of a newspaper but they will write a scientific article which will help the country with hope .

I will prefer to stay positive and optimistic than being negative about few bigots as every country will have them

Well, it is only the idiots who get offended and comment on the tweet. India is a huge country with a very diverse population. It is expected and understood.

Fabricated news. All these trolls are fake Hindu IDs from Pakistan and Bangladesh. Same thing was done with Mohd Shami.

We Indians respect each and everyone in our country. Mohd Shami, Zaheer, Tendulkar, Bedi, Engineer all are well respected in India but not likes of Azharuddin, Sreesanth or Ajey Sharma 👍🏻

Twitter is source of all the garbage. Look t the death threats Kohli's family received from a Rohit fan. I think he got banned too. His ID disappeared.

The headline was Hindutva impact on cricketers.

Do Hindu cricketers start doing religious activities on the ground?

Different things.

Anyways coming to the topic, a cricketer thanking his god on his personal social media account is no one's business. His religion, his god, its between them. Anyone having any objections can go drown themselves in their tears.

But this thread is about Mohammed Siraj. Why are you downplaying it by bringing up Liton Das? Did you create a separate thread about Liton Das? Let's focus on the issues in India, where there are many bigots. This is why Feku became PM for the third time. :inti

A lot of twitter trends in India were found to have Pakistani promoters.
