Naqvi the murderous thug got humiliated in America and ended up looking for photo ops with has beens and unknowns. He wasn't invited and he wasn't wanted and had to buy tickets like everyone. But the local media made it out that he was the guest honour. This is where reality meets wishes

Mohsin Naqvi meets key US officials, discusses bilateral ties

He expressed his best wishes for the American people and reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to fostering collaboration.

President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif extended their congratulations to Donald Trump on becoming the 47th President of the United States.

President Zardari conveyed his best wishes to the new US president, while Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed his sentiments in a post on X. “I look forward to working with him to strengthen the enduring Pakistan-US partnership,” PM Shehbaz wrote.

Highlighting the decades-old collaboration, the prime minister added, “Over the years, our two great nations have worked together closely to pursue peace and prosperity in the region and beyond for our peoples & we shall continue to do so in the future.”

I don’t really know much about Pakistani politics, so I tend to stay out of it. I mainly come here to to wind up Imran Khan fans because they’re so easy to trigger.

But I’ve got to give credit where it’s due what Mohsin Naqvi has done for cricket is impressive. Pakistan cricket is definitely heading in the right direction thanks to him.

I did hear something about Imran Khan wanting a call from the U.S. or trying to reach out to them. The only thing I could think was how hypocritical it is. They shout “absolutely not” on one hand, then turn around and ask for U.S. help while most of them living in U.S. and foreign countries.

political matters should be left to you guys who actually live in Pakistan only you should have the right to decide your future and who you want leading you guys.

It’s a whole different story from a Prime Minister openly admitting to calling and congratulating a President on winning the election, only to have the President refuse to take the call, facts the PM didn’t hide. That’s a far cry from someone wasting taxpayer money to buy an inauguration ticket just to fake being invited by President Trump.

Like the OP makes a thread that so and so wasnt invited and than they themselves are posting pictures that Pakistani govt reps were invited.


I think the thread itself got answered by PTI fans without them knowing.

Imran Khan will offcourse naturally get mentioned because his govt was desperate for a call from the US president who ignored him. So a party whose leader got ignored by US shouldnt be really going around and making fake claims of other govts being ignored.

At govt and diplomatic level, things dont work like how pti fans think they do. Proper invitations are given out to delegations.

For such events the whole embassey is involved, the ambassador also meets with the new foreign secretary etc.

But i doubt pti fans who cry about ciphers would understand how govt operates.

Just to add, this is the mindset of PTI supporters they become abusive and resort to swearing on forums, and when offline, they turn to violence, burning buildings, and creating chaos. It’s not a civilised party at all, but rather full of individuals resembling the English Defence League or perhaps even worse. Quicker this imran khan chapters is closed better for the world

But but yesterday The Foreign office released a statement saying he wasn't representing them. Last week the Defense Minister said he didn't know Naqvi was going. Can you at least do some research or is that too much to ask.

It was well-deserved for those causing chaos and terror on the streets of Pakistan. Your concern for them stems solely from the fact that they were PTI supporters, not because they were fellow Pakistanis. If they had been members of other parties, you wouldn't have been as sympathetic. As I mentioned earlier, PTI supporters often resort to aggression online, including swearing and abusing, and offline as seen during the 9th May Islamabad riots. It's part of the PTI mentality to keep provoking a response by tagging me.

That said, there are plenty of posts he’s tagged me in that I’ve simply ignored even in this thread my response was to @Major

PTI supporters oppose everything that isn’t connected to Imran Khan, even when it comes to cricket or other matters. If a PCB chairman is appointed by Imran Khan, they act as if it’s the best decision ever, but if someone else appoints a chairman, they claim it’s the worst thing to happen to cricket. PTI supporters let their bias influence everything, treating Imran Khan like a super being

Bilawal says will attend breakfast at Trump's invitation

Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari on Friday confirmed that he was going to attend breakfast at the invitation of US President Donald Trump, in a personal capacity.

Bilawal said this in response to a query, asking him if it was true that he was invited to attend an event of the new US administration. He confirmed that he was going to attend the annual National Prayer Breakfast.

“As far as my US visit is concerned, this is completely true and this news was reported by media, but you should ask media about this news' origin.

“I will definitely go for breakfast, a practice that’s continued from my mother’s tenure. There’s a possibility of holding meetings with friends of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto there [as well].

Neither I’m a minister nor a government official so this [trip of mine] is not official or as a representative of the government,” he said.

It is pertinent to mention here that PPP Co-chairman and incumbent President Asif Ali Zardari had attended the pre-inauguration oath ceremony of then-US president-elect Trump in Washington, DC in 2017.

To a query, the PPP chief said his party was not going to become a part of the cabinet. To another query, he affirmed Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will "Insha'Allah" complete the five-year term as the prime minister.

When asked that the new US administration invited foreign minister of India but not of Pakistan for Trump’s oath-taking ceremony, Bilawal, also the former foreign minister, said it was essential that a representative was invited from India as well after extending an invitation to the Chinese president, given the geopolitical situation between the US and China.

"Pakistan’s foreign policy is intact at its place. Pakistan’s nuclear assets and missile technology are gifts from Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto,” he said.

I understand your point of view and I don't disagree. It must be frustrating arguing with people who are set on their ways and most of the times unreasonable but you have to understand you are no different. Everyone has their biases unless you are a foreigner who has no association with Pakistan, you will graviate toward one camp or another. Right now most Pakistanis are against the current ruling establishment not for the love of Imran Khan or PTI but how horrible the military regime has been for the country. The only people who can understand this are those who don't live in their elite bubble and walk among the middle class and lower middle class. Military trying to build Pakistan is like saying Taliban is trying to mdernize Afghanistan. It's a fallacy

At govt and diplomatic level, things dont work like how pti fans think they do. Proper invitations are given out to delegations.

For such events the whole embassey is involved, the ambassador also meets with the new foreign secretary etc.

But i doubt pti fans who cry about ciphers would understand how govt operates.

Once again, you’re attempting to present facts in a way that fits your narrative.

Mr. Naqvi was not specifically invited to Trump’s swearing in ceremony, the inauguration was open to all, and some attendees paid to be there.

Any congressman or senator can invite someone to meet them on Capitol Hill, which has no connection to Trump’s inauguration.

You need to stop fabricating stories. This isn’t Raiwind or Bilawal House where people will simply accept your falsehoods.
