I agree to some extent but it depends on conditions really. We did induct some positive players ( by test stnadard) such as Babar Azam into the side. Yasir in asia has a lot of flair and sarfraz/shafiq are some other batsman that bat with some flair in the test arena ( vs Aus in Aus both played entertaining gritty innings)
I find WI test side to be way more boring

In tests it has to be Pakistan. There are no players in the X1 who are exciting to watch at the moment. Sri Lanka in all formats. They just do not have the will to win. The second ODI in the recently concluded series was one of the worst games I saw. I know SL had no chance of chasing Indian total but Matthews showed no intent and just batted for his hundred, one of the most dull passages of play I witnessed from a top team in a long time. I know that minnows do that when they feel they have no chance of winning, they would try to bat out 50 overs, SL's performance reminded me of that.

Apart from Aus and Eng and a lesser extent SA, no team draws much of a Test crowd. Even India plays in front of 80% empty seats when hosting Englamd or Australia.

I would say SL is the most boring team to watch for a neutral fan, given their lack of quality players. Even the few quality players they had a few years back were boring to watch.

I'm in total shock seeing as no one has mentioned the Windies. In ODI's they're a complete snore fest of a team. Weakest in that format. Sri Lanka do have some good batsmen unlike the Windies whose players bat at painstakingly low strike rates. Nothing to boast about in their bowling either when their best bowler is Jason Holder.

Pakistan are very methodical in tests, which makes them boring. Of course it doesn't help playing in the dead surroundings of UAE in empty stadiums.

i think watching pakistan bat is the most boring thing in cricket and
watching em bowl is the most exciting part.

Those saying Pakistan need to start paying attention. Amir, Shah and Hassan are superstars while the likes of Babar, Sami and Haris are young and upcoming batsmen and following their progress is quite entertaining. Then we have Sarfaraz who sweeps the fast bowlers and Shafiq who is beautiful to watch.

There is no entertainer in the England team. Someone like Hasan Ali, DJ Bravo, Imran Tahir, etc.

There is nothing comparable to being a Pakistan fan. The highs and lows and the tension you feel when supporting your team is unmatched.

In Tests: Pakistan, and Sri Lanka. Most players in both sides are not Test class and would be lucky to be 1st division county players. They're also awful teams. At least WI has some great players.

It used to be SA for me long ago but Steyn/Amla/ABD changed that.

I'd say Bangladesh were on the not interesting list but they're toughness at home made me enjoy their Eng/Aus Tests.
