LAHORE – Prime Minister’s daughter Maryam Nawaz Thursday celebrated the split judgment of Supreme Court on the highly anticipated Panama Papers case on social media.

Tweeting pictures of herself standing with her father Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and her uncle Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz wrote: “Mubarik ! Wazir-e-Azam Nawaz Sharif ….. Alhamdolillahi Rab-al-Aalameen”.

Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif, former Information minister Pervaiz Rasheed and PM’s Special Assistant Irfan Siddiqui are also seen in the picture celebrating the judgement.

On Thursday, the Supreme Court issued an order for the formation of Joint Investigation Team (JIT) to probe the Sharif family’s involvement in corruption as stated in the Panama leaks.

A five-judge bench, comprising Justice Asif Saeed Khosa, Justice Gulzar Ahmed, Justice Ejaz Afzal Khan, Justice Azmat Saeed and Justice Ijazul Ahsan, had examined arguments presented by the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI), the Jamaat-i-Islami (JI), the Watan Party and the All Pakistan Muslim League, who framed the case out of court as a campaign against corruption.

Justice Asif Saeed Khosa announced the final verdict in the case against Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his family at Courtroom 1 at the apex court.

Mubarak for what? Because Abba ji and Bhais are going to answer JIT that's what 3 judges want...Or Mubarak because the other 2 judges wanted Abba Ji to go home? :yk

سب کو اپنی اپنی جیت نظر آرہی ہے۔

Everyone is looking at the verdict with his her own tilt.

#Euphoria.

#Balanced Judgement

I don't mind Nawaz or his party but if he had any self respect and dignity he would resign. This is pathetic.

How ironic that the thieves thank Allah.

Respect Shehzadi Mariam, Strongest Politician among the women in SC and future PM of Pakistan.

Regards from India.

The court today called their entire family liars and have called him infront of a JIT like criminals such as Uzair Baloch, and this woman is celebrating.

:))

She is celebrating because phasna to bhai or abba ji ne he uska apna to door door tak koi naam nae...

This Govt. is a joke. A bigger joke is Maryam Nawaz's twitter account. She's giving Trump some competition with the stupidity on there.

Maryam is definately the worst. Sad to know that she is the future PM when she - like the rest of the morons in PMLN - has nothing to offer. Her twitter is just disgusting. Always reetweeting Nooras attacking Imran, his family and Shaukat Khanum. Her own tweets are just even worse. Just using fancy words to prove she's a M.A. in english literature.

Exactly. Its especially embarrassing considering Shaukat Khanum is the biggest gift to Pakistan from anyone and I say this as neutral person without any biases.

Also, she is extremely dumb, I seriously doubt she manages her Twitter account herself - even though it doesn't boast much anyway. I know from some valid sources close to the Sharif Family that she has problems even reading a better level of English, let alone writing.

Really pessimistic about the future of Pakistan now. These same people will win the elections again and continue their monarchy.

Absolutely no need to blow trumpets of victory. They haven't been given 'clean chit', and only recommended for further investigation.

In UK after such a verdict the Prime Minister would resign immediatly.

For Nawaz opinions or what people feel means nothing. As long as he hangs on to power it's a victory, totally understandable for his daughter to be congratulating him.

In Pakistani politics power seems to be concentrated in the hands of so few - the Sharifs, Bill Bhutto and family, and Imran Khan.

Where are all the other leaders? Punjab is such a big place - with a population in excess of 100m - so why aren't there more politicians and political parties around to offer an alternative to Sharif's party? When there is no credible opposition the ruling party can get away with murder.

I don't see any happiness on the face of Nawaz no matter how much they attempt to convince people. Now we have to wait for whatever the JIT decides in this never ending circus.

Wow, you really want a good future for Pakistan, what else we can expect from a friend across the border.:46:

I'm also a Punjabi and reality is that ( shamefully ) corruption has become a norm and a culture over 3 decades of Sharif raj in Punjab and Punjabis now don't mind electing a corrupt leader as long as they have some connections to the ruling party which majority of influencial people do have in Punjab.

It truly baffles me that Pakistan a nation of 200 million people cannot even produce a single leader who is not from privileged background. I thought for a long time Altaf Hussein was different in that aspect but he is a complete lunatic now. Really need some new faces entering politics in Pakistan, should've left Bhuttos and Sharifs in the 90s where they belong.

My father gave me a very relevant misaal yesterday: a man´s turban slipped from above his head and fell on a deserted street. He lifted it from there, placed it back on his head and started to celebrate that the honour is still intact since no one saw it. In that sense, congratulations indeed to the PML-N.

Imran being as thoughtless as always. First, in advance, announces 'Thanksgiving Day' for Friday (which I think won´t be celebrated now) and also that they´ll be accepting the Supreme Court´s verdict, then the PTI too distribute sweets after the verdict and today Imran rejects the JIT, a decision made by the very court. Very, very baffling!
