Bustling run-up.

Strong action with decent pace.

Bowls a good bouncer.

Seams the ball around.

Thoughts on him?

Hope he actually develops from here on.

Very intelligent and hardworking bowler! against SA he did setup batsmen perfectly doing it today aswel, nice pace bowling consistently at 140kph. I think he will make it to the next level, PCB should invest in him.

I thought he was nothing special in the SA game but today he has been impressive. Good pace. Just needs more control.

He's rapid for a 17-year-old.

Could probably reach 152-153 KPH as top speed in his prime.

Draft him into the men's squad. The kid is much more mature as a bowler than his age suggests

I wouldn't mind him to be an enforcer in the ODI squad... someone to come in and just bowl out and out quick. He has a mean bouncer.

It's the skiddy action .... the ball comes quicker than you anticipate...

I said he was quick when i saw him without the speed gun against the afgans in the Asia cup .
He does concentrate on line and swing with the new ball over pace tbf .

Is he playing PSL?

He and Afridi are ready for national squad. There is no point of wasting them in domestic. People don’t improve there, talent should be nurtured with national squad.

He is short and he is no Hasan Ali. Does not have a smooth run up like Hasan. He will struggle in FC cricket, was good only for under 19 cricket.

I've actually liked him better than Shaheen! He looks like he enjoys bullying batsmen with his bouncers and he's hungry for wickets. He's got pace too one of the best U-19 bowlers in the recent years!

Looks better then any other pak pacer. He looks little short for a fast bowler. Just like nagarkoti. Height is not on his side

Excellent bowling, consistently bowling over 140 kph! What's his height?

For those of you who are saying to fast-track him and Shaheen Afridi to the national team need to realize that there is a huge gap in quality of cricket that is played between the 2 levels. We need to organize a lot more A tours and send them and see how they perform. I feel like that would give us a better overall picture.

All our U19 pacers have the right ingredients just need the proper coaching that can take them to the next level. One of our best U19 pace bowling lineup.

The good thing about him is that he can seam the ball and it looks like he'll be a very good reverse swing bowler. The conditions in NZ aren't conducive to reverse swing but I'm pretty sure in drier conditions he'll reverse it.

wonder who would be a good role model for this guy. Very few bowlers with that pace and that little hop at the crease.

I just hope we don't waste this lot of talented pace bowlers.

Still remember the lot Jamshed Ahmed and Akhtar Ayub were a part off, totally got ignored when they moved in FC cricket. Sad.

This guy needs a little more jump in his action. His action reminds me of Amin yamin.

If he can clicks 146k with this sorf of action and runup , just imagine what will happen when he gets proper coaching and nutritious diet along with the added strength coming in next couple of years. His effort ball will be touching 150k in an year time provided he gets in to the right hands.

How is he generating so much pace with that action? I'd say coach him but our coaches will probably turn him into a 130 kph trundler. He is impressive but doesn't seem skilled enough to be fast tracked.

After so much of chest thumping about finding a 90/92 mph bowler from the Qalandars trials and stating that there is no one who can bowl at that speed in the current lot, there suddenly seems to be 2/3 pacers in the u19 level who could do that and are already present in the system. They just need proper guidance and platform to develop and need to be included in the regional/department teams.

There seems to be talent around just need a proper eye to find them and nurture them for future, instead of only having talent hunt camps.

Just like pacers, there might be good batsmen at the domestic/junior level who are neglected or even not preferred over others due to some biases.

It's hard to digest that a land of 20M people don't have enough good batsmen.

PS I think that there might a glitch in the device for measuring the speed, so many u19 bowlers are bowling at speeds of 140 kph. This seems a little extraordinary considering it is not usually the case for u19 bowlers to bowl at such high speeds consistently.
This is just what I feel I might be wrong too.

looks mediocre...I can already see him developing a fat belly and withering away in FC..this u19 squad wont really produce any big stars other than afridi who looks the real deal..the rest were unimpressive. One of those mediocre years we have now and then..Generally our u19's are pretty decent..this bunch look like they need more work..

overall the Indians look like a better unit..well coached, professional, well looked after..our lot look like a bunch of amatuers who have great talent..same old same old..

He bowls a good bouncer however I have serious doubt over his pace. He is surely not bowling over 140kph. The batsmen seem to be picking him off without much trouble. His control is also all over the place, many times he is spraying the ball on the pads. Very raw bowler.

Exactly I am perplexed how he is bowling over 140kph with that action. I don't genuinely believe the speed gun is correct, as the batsmen are having very little trouble facing him.

These speed guns look a little fishy. Way too many bowlers bowling at 90 mph.

I like how he gets the bowl to cut in of the seam at times also his action will help him get quite a bit of reverse swing

Get these bowlers who have potential under the age of 22 working with Azhar and training with the national squad. Also make sure they are on the right diet and on a fast bowlers fitness regime.

A boot camp when PAK is in its off-season. MA can get the 20 best U-19 players and give them months of hell to bring them on an international mindset. Right now, these guys are what their mentors are, mediocre.

Seems like a better death (and middle inning) bowler than Afridi, who seems like a better new ball bowler.

There seems to be a lot of haters on here , it’s the u19 kids FGS give them a break, we also have to remember the Pak teams are always under prepared & the least professional, in terms of application & game plan.. we need to make good batting pitches to groom decent batters ,give them confidence to play shots, that’s the only way we will produce quality batsmen,
