He's an excellent timer and he can connect. Will almost always give you a 10 ball 25 at least, and 50+ occasionally. Need him in T20s

Hack or whatever, Pakistan needs a player with an X factor, a batsmen who when comes off then wins the game for his team. If Mukhtar Ahmed can click in 3 out of 10 games (meaning 50+ score in quick time) then he is good to be invested upon.

Meanwhile the sooner they get Mohammed Aamer back to get some X factor in bowling, the better for Pakistan.

there are quite a few good players that did not get the contract sadly, like him, Kamran Ghulam, Fawad Alam, Imam-ul-Haq, Usman Shinwari, Agha Salman, Bilal Asif etc. hopefully we'll see more of them in the next edition when they add another team

He needs to be picked up by a PSL franchise and should be considered for T20I team. Working with professional coaching staff should do him a lot of good.
