Imran Rafiq is playing for Multan and made 148 runs of 349 balls against ZTBL.

He made his debut last year for SNGPL but was dropped after only 2 FC games, this season he is playing for Multan, furthermore he's only 21 years old (Birth Date: November 3, 1996).

I have written about him here:

21 y/o batsman Imran Rafiq has quietly started the season well with two fifties (one in each FC match). He featured twice for SNGPL last season, but has moved back to Multan for this season.

Rather worryingly, all five of his dismissals this season (4 FC and 1 List A) have been against spinners.

44 in the first innings of round three vs SSGC.

That said: surprise, surprise he got out to a spinner.

67* (83) to help his side beat Lahore Blues in QeA Cup.

His scores this season:

67* LA

3, 29 FC

52* LA

148 FC

1 LA

44, 15 FC

22 LA

65, 2 FC

11 LA

16, 67 FC

A quick search on YT brings up this video:

You mentioned your brother in law was in Kenya when Pakistan U19 toured Kenya in 2014. Alongside Zeeshan Malik and Saud Shakeel, Imran Rafiq was part of that squad (as vice captain).

Are you able to provide any more info about him?

85 (117) vs Karachi Whites in List A. Once again got out to a spinner though.

On the slow side but I assume it was a difficult pitch given his side defended 223.

This Guy Imran Rafiq And Others , Rohail Nazir , Nabi Gul , Saim Ayub, Omair Bin Yousaf Have Bright Future Ahead,
Khusdil Shah Abf Zeeshan Malik Is Also But They Are Poor In FC Need To Work On It.
Best Of Luck To Them Hope PCB Took Care Of Them Not Wasted Like Others...

Indeed. Have tried to get more videos, but it's proving to be quite the difficult task so far.

Looking at Naseem earlier, this lad and the 3 in the U19 WC, there is some real talent if they are not wasted in the mediocrity of domestic cricket. These guys should be playing against New Zealand A, not 32 years who have missed the boat.

Abdullah719.the guy looks special Saj can tell micky about him if he continues hid good form.

Videos confirm what I have said about him getting tied down by spin.
