He js boring , one dimensional and only puts in appeasing statements to the TM. Probably looking for a coaching role in future.

Can't stand his boring and dull commentary. Even Mandira Bedi and Charu Sharma would have done a better job.

I personally enjoy listening to him. He does his homework, puts forward decent points and asks much better questions in the interview than some around. Miles ahead of someone like Sunil Gavaskar and Laxman Sivaramakrishnan who I always find pretty bland.

He is bland as a commentator. No real insights and most of the time is caught up in cliches like the rest of the Indian commentators. But yeah his post match interviews are decent

Terrible commentator. Totally generic and rarely has anything insightful to say.

India have some very good commentators: Gavaskar, Harsha, Laxman Sivaramakrishnan, even Ajit Agarkar is underrated imo. But Murali Karthik is easily the worst one on the commentary team

Dinesh Karthik is superb, although I suspect he will become less insightful if he gets to work on the BCCI production.

It's the nature of the beast, these same commentators get more scope to analyze the game if they are working for a different broadcaster.
