According to reports, Mushy has stepped down from his role at the NCA and will join up with the WI team in a consultancy role as an assistant coach.

He is pretty useless.

How? Our lead spinner Yasir has looked completely lost since Mushy left as bowling coach. He also played a big role in Bilal Asifs recent development. PCB really should have brought him back as spin bowling coach.

The players like Mushy, especially the younger guys.

PCB really need to tie down their best coaches on long-term and lucrative contracts in future.

The likes Saqqy, Mushy, Qadir, Tauseef should have been in the NCA coaching some upcoming spinners as that is something Pakistan has lacked for the last many years.

Need to develop some young spinners and get them to learn the art early enough for them to have long careers.

No point in getting 30+ year olds in the side for a 2-3 year span depending on the form and fitness of those players.

Pakistan has not produced any good young spinner and if that has been the case then has not been good enough to come through to play for Pakistan.

No need for spin coach at that level.

Imad Wasim and Shadab threat will be nullified at the WC, by the Windies.

They're poor against spin but, Mushy will give insights about Shadab and Imad as they learnt tricks from him.

One easy win missed by Pak at the WC. They're really good against pace. This may prove costly for Pakistan, as one win or even rr would determine whether you would enter semis or not

Former Pakistan legspinner Mushtaq Ahmed is set to become the assistant coach of West Indies. He has signed a contract that will need him to commit 150 days in a year.

Mushtaq has since ended his stint as the head coach of Pakistan's National Cricket Academy (NCA)

He was scheduled to begin with the India tour but had to pull out because of visas issues.

Mushtaq's first assignment will be West Indies' upcoming tour of Bangladesh, where the Caribbean side is slated to play two Tests, three One-Day Internationals (ODIs) and three T20Is.

Mushtaq's contract with the NCA was renewed for a year in April after weeks of uncertainty. At the time, he was also contemplating offers from Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and West Indies but decided to stay back to put himself in the fray to become Pakistan's spin bowling coach. However, he signed a month-long contract as a spin consultant with Cricket West Indies before rejoining the NCA.

Mushtaq has previously worked with England and was Pakistan's bowling coach for 18 months but was replaced by Azhar Mahmood last year.

Earlier this year, Mushtaq spend four weeks in the Caribbean working with the West Indies squads training.

Mustaq should retained and Inzi should be sacked. PCB will never understand the difference of value between diamond or pebble.
