He recommends that the PSL should be hosted in Faisalabad, Multan, Miranshah, FATA even if they have to go via Helicopter and even if they have to sustain a loss or two and that the PCB should also invite dignatories and diplomats

The PCB will also need to make the Strategic call off when to introduce and sell the 7th and 8th team of the PSL, whether they will charge astronomical prices or will they wait for the existing Franchises to make some money before introducing more teams

Obviously the more matches you have in Pakistan, the greater will be your revenues and lower will be your expenses

Also right now the PSL has the novelty factor in Pakistan which is why the attendances were very high and almost all the matches were sold out in Karachi. But eventually when you start hosting all the PSL games in Pakistan, the novelty factor will wear out and as seen in the IPL after 6-8 years, some people will not attend the games in the Stadiums and will instead prefer to watch the games on TV as eventually people will get used to the PSL.

This is where both the PCB and the PSL Franchises need to work on building their fanbase. For instance Peshawar Zalmi fans around the world are extremely loyal, out of all the franchises only Peshawar Zalmi to an extent has been successful in building its fanbase but the other PSL Franchises have not been successful in this regard.

With fanbase building comes marketing based on which you will be able to sell products and merchandising and this helps the franchises to earn profits and fill out the stadiums. Both the PCB and the Franchises need to develop a common marketing strategy, you cannot just rely on just creating hype and hoping to fill up the stadiums. Going forward you have to build these fanbases, this helps to create passion, rivalry among fans as you can see in English Football. Right now we don't see that sort of passion or rivalry yet

The most serious challenge in corruption. The more popular the league get, the more profitable it gets, it is going to attract bookies who are naturally going to try their best to corrupt players. The PCB will have to further strengthen its security and anti corruption teams, make the laws stricter and ensure that there are no disciplinary lapses. A single corruption scandal can destroy the brand, we have to maintain this positive image

My question to him is, Why didn’t you think of this before launching this league? He was a poor administrator and love to arm chair referee things.

He is the brain child of this league. The present PCB administration fed off his hard work and risk.

He is as much the brainchild of this league as you are the brainchild of Pakpassion..

He is right about holding games in Multan, we need to keep increasing stadiums year by year.
