The return of cricket matches to Pakistan is definitely something he deserves credit for, and he has made further promises of more international teams touring Pakistan.

However much of the problems relating to domestic cricket remain, with the scheduling of the tournaments this season bordering on farcical at times.

I think he has done relatively well so far in this short tenure and it will be interesting to see what happens going forward.

PSL is his baby

He and SYK both made efforts to bring international cricket to Pakistan in the form of the Zimbabwe tour, the PSL final in Lahore, the World Eleven series, the Sri Lanka T-20 in Lahore. They cannot do much better than this

Bringing in Mickey Arthur

Bringing in Muddassar Nazar at the NCA, Mushtaq Ahmed at the NCA

Working towards the right domestic cricket structure by negotiating with the departments to agree to a more regional structure with the departments sponsoring them and convincing the PSL Franchise owners to buy out the regional teams. PSLization of the domestic structure in the form of drafts. Needs to do more to improve salaries in domestic cricket

Going full horns against the BCCI for blatantly disrespecting the PCB, causing massive losses to the PCB coffers by refusing to play us on our soil or on neutral territory and going forward with the lawsuit

Needs to do more to bring more legendary cricketers into the NCA and domestic Cricket.

I do not care one bit what his political inclination is...

The fact of the matter is he is doing whatever it takes to bring international cricket back to Pakistan and I commend him for that.

The national team is performing well too.

The only issues to address that I see are the state of domestic teams and pitches along with investment towards women’s cricket.

Very content.

The winning streak is one thing but most of the moves he's made have been solid.

He has two flaws from what I can see.

1) He was a nepotistic hiring
2) He can't seem to let the IND thing go (still understandable considering the financial implications)

Nepotism is an issue but I think he's well past the point where he has to prove himself. The man would get this position on merit (if it went up for a vote) in my eyes.

Credit where it's due, PSL, World XI and now Sri Lanka playing a T20I in Pakistan.

However, domestic cricket in Pakistan remains a shambles, as does the PCB and many who work for the Board.

He needs to do something about the dreadful pitches being produced for first class cricket. Today's pitch for the game wasn't bad. Why can't they be replicated for first class cricket?

Needs to organize more A tours for youngsters development. So far none, more important than PSL.

It's a refreshing change that the Pakistan Cricket Board (or any cricket board for that matter) appears to have a competent leader.

He and SYK combo did well especially the PSL which brought youngsters to big stage and eventually showed results national team keep winning. It was the find of PSL that won the man of the series in CT. good years ahead for pak team with the captain and coach. Bringing MICKEY, MUDASSAR , INZI, SARFRAZ as captain is the hallmark of their tenure. Need to concentrate on more A tours and more series for national team. As the national odi team is in red hot form need to play more games.

He's a good manager. He understands politics so he wont be as dumb as Ijaz or Sheri alone. However, his lack of cricketing knowledge can be hurtful but he's trying to bring in right people at right places for that. Been much better than previous couple of heads.

He deserves many a praise and great credit .

Much better than ijaz butt and that zardari chum Zaka ashraf that nearly buried the game of cricket in Pakistan

Not that good,

has supported politically connected people and also supported undeserving players due to them having political connections but zero performances.

PAkistani talent is too good and broadbased it can find a way to acclaim despite this nepotism and corrupt system which Sethi is heading.

Financially also the board is'nt doing too well. Its image is'nt great at all. Nothing to do with foreign tours, the nability to reek sponsorship from domestic leagues like PSL can change the financial standing of PCB and it has the potential of becoming one of the top rich boards.Pakistani diaspora and public has the incredible interest of sustaining this objective. But a good administrator is needed. PAkistani players have been easy targets esp. with foreign elements like Indians with a political objective and their random character assassinations is failure of the board.

Give this administration to ARif Abbasi or Majid Khan and you'll see a much more robust board. A sincere and enigmatic Rana FAwad or Javed Afridi have also shown if they are given the reins they can do things unimaginable before. Such people need to be encouraged not shady characters like Shakeel Sheikh lurking in the background, during Sethi tenure or post-Sethi such people only bring instability.

He has done very well. People have problems with him because of his political allegiance.

This. More interested in mega events than development. Yes the PSL has been a boon, but Sethi wanted a PSL because every country has a PSL. Monkey see monkey do. And we didn't need the PSL to know that Hasan Ali deserved selection. He was top wicket taker in the Pakistan cup alongside Sohail Khan and Sadaf. Our ODI bowling at the time was amongst the worst in the world and he should have been a shoe-in, alongside Sadaf. But Sethi's croony Shakeel Sheikh has put the pox on Sadaf and that will be that. Meanwhile, Test team is in free fall. The true verdict on Sethi will only be possible once he leaves office and we see what kind of institutional legacy he left. We don't need more Kings, we need effective Systems.
