Rashid Khan will be unavailable for the PSL final as he opts to play for his national team Afghanistan .Lahore Qalandars is eager to have Rashid in the all important final game offering him to fly to Pakistan. Afghanistan's white-ball tour of Banglades is now going on.
Rashid, however, tweeted that it wouldn't be possible for him to play the PSL final "due to National Duty which is always a first priority for him.

If I remember correctly half of the SA team missed the last ODI against Pakistan which they ended up losing to go and play in the IPL.

You guys need to hold your horses first of all that’s his country what would you guys have said if rauf prioritized bbl over Pakistan everyone would have gone nuts has happened with amir before. Second of all rashid khan loves Lahore qalandars and he’s extremely close to sameen rana and all the other players as they are all Pashtun as well so I don’t think he would enjoy anything more than playing with his boys and Pathan’s coming to support him in Lahore because he has tons of fans in Pakistan plus you can’t randomly leave a national tour for a psl game.

For rashid khan to come, you needed to transport him from the bengladesh bubble to the lahore bubble, thus you had to charter a plane. For a chartered plane, you would than need airspace clearance from bangladesh and india.

Also you need permission from afghan cricket board and bangladesh cricket board....

Exactly. Its hilarious that some fans think he should had done the following while they themselves would had hated had a pakistani done the same.

Rashid khan enjoyed his stay here. The guy said had he been picked in a lower category he would had never had minded just for sameen rana.

That is a big statement coming from a premium international cricketer.

Our local mediocre player, kamran akmal, threw a hissy fit when he was slotted in a lower category. He said it was a matter of disrespect for him, even though he had been playing eith the same franchise ofr 5 years even after losing them the 3rd psl against islamabad united, but was never kicked out....

Its sad that even after such a big statement, these fans doubt rashid khan and have the audacity to say had it been bbl or ipl he would had left mid tour... Pathetic amd disrespectful

Well De Kock Van Der Dussen Miller Rabada Ngidi and Nortje is pretty much half of their team considerably weakening their batting and bowling costing them the series win not sure what your trying to say here.
