Netflix Search Engine - how would you rate it?

I’m not sure about other Netflix users, but feedback I get from family and friends re Netflix’s search engine is pretty pathetic.
For example, if you type in a specific movie, instead of showing a narrow search it shows tons of movies that are not even anywhere close to the movie one searched for. IMO, Amazon prime’s search engine is far more superior. If anyone has had a better experience, please share.

I find netflix search engine accurate. You will just have to know what to type.

Don't put the whole name of the movie. just write one or two keywords which aren't common. For example,
"Life as we know it".

If you will write "Life as" or "Life we" or "as we it" it will give rubbish results as "as", "we", "it" are very common words. Choose "life know" and you will get the exact match.

Its not that netflix search engine is bad but blame goes to google who made their search engine too intelligent which in turn made the people dumb.

in 90s and early 2000s, people used to be more intelligent when it came down to search engines.

Not just the search engine, i find their recommendations in each genre also not goof enough. There are loads of good movies which arent even shown in those recommendations.
