Neuro Linguistic Programming Demonstration - How is used in advertising

While I agree with the principle, this here is clearly staged. There's no way these subtle suggestions are going to make him forget past events or desire.

NLP is extremely powerful. Studying it changed my life for the better in all sorts of ways.

Any book recommendations Robert?

Have heard good things about Bandler, McKenna, Tony Robbins etc but there just seems to be so much out there.

I would suggest one of Bandler's more recent books such as Trance-formations. It is written in highly entertaining style.

Sorry but pseudoscience

There is no scientific basis for NLP. That doesn't matter to me. It is based on a more thoughtful and in-depth observational understanding of language. Politicians and sales people use it to persuade all the time. Materialists ask Bandler for evidence. He replies that if you ask a group of a hundred people to think if an elephant with green spots, and ninety of them look up and to their left, that to him is evidence.

If that's the standard for evidence these days then homeopathy has a legitimate case too.

NLP isn't therapy. It's a set of linguistic techniques.

Buy a book, do the exercises and see what happens.
