I cant think of any civilised nation today or in the recent past where a religious figure drives around, calling for women of other faiths to be raped in public.

There are right wing commentators in the USA making social media content complaining about floods of Indians coming to the USA to replace the local workforce on H1-B visas. One of the biggest complaints is the rape culture in India so it seems that this reputation has really spread in America. Indians do not seem to be well thought of over there.

I came to states on H1b most people that come on H1b are South Indians who already have a family and just go by their business.

The narrative will keep changing, right wing in US is very much on conspiracy ,time will tell if it becomes mainstream.

Currents right wing hates George Bush family, John Mcain, Mitt Romney ..so the hatred among ring wing extremes is much more for Republicans than even Indians.

Having said that h1b can easily be manipulated if not done currently.

Hindu priest rape threat to Muslim women: UP police registers case after 6 days​


Cops have registered a case six days after a Hindu priest's hate speech outside a mosque in Sitapur district in Uttar Pradesh. The preist in the speech allegedly threatened to kidnap and rape Muslim women.

A case under relevant sections has been registered and further steps are being taken on the basis of witnesses' statements, Sitapur police said in a statement on Twitter.

In the video, a man clad in saffron robes, reportedly the local mahant in a small town Khairabad can be seen addressing a gathering from inside a jeep. A man in a police uniform can also be seen in the background.

Speaking on a microphone, the man appears to make communal and provocative remarks as the crowd cheers him with shouts of "Jai Shri Ram".

The priest in the video alleges a plot to murder him and adds that a sum of ₹ 28 lakh has been collected for this.

He then purportedly says that if a Muslim harasses any girl in the area, he would kidnap Muslim women and publicly rape them. The threat is met with loud cheers by the crowd.

Sharing the video, Mohammed Zubair, Alt News co-founder, said the video was shot on April 2 but no action had been taken by the police even after five days.

The National Commission for Women has condemned the remarks and sought the priest's arrest. "The Police should not be a mute spectator in such incidents and appropriate measures must be taken by them to curb people from using such outrageous language for women," a statement from the commission said.

Same was the case with the BJP who publicly threatened to slaughter Muslims in presence of police officers. Pathetic event

This is nothing to do with "Muslim terrorists". It seems Indian posters only want to bask in Islamophobic content, as soon as the topic isn't lauding Indians or Hindus, then we get toys getting thrown out of the pram. Please desist from this blatant hypocrisy.

I think .. if indian posters were really islamophobic, they would've bumped the brit-pak grooming gangs thread because Elon Musk has been posting about it non-stop for the last 3 days. Twitter has been set ablaze with that issue right now. They've moved on from the hb1 visa talk.

A Pakistani guy was arrested for his plans to execute Terror in NYC by FBI. There was no post or mention on it on this board. I knew about this in September of last year, but did not care to post it here.

I think it's just a matter of perception. Pakistani posters think Indian posters repeatedly pile in with Islamophobic slants, and likewise Indian posters seem to get triggered by what they see as anti-India threads. It's like one is feeding the other in a massive troll-fest.

I know you have a deeper understanding of Islam than most of the posters here to be fair. You have often posted hadiths and Quran stuff which the average Pakistani Muslim is not aware of. So if you had that news story bookmarked then it's not a massive surprise.

But in any case, news is news. What gets put up here might serve some purpose, it's left to the readers to figure out what it is.
