Have been watching lots of cricket related videos on youtube in past few days from all over the world.

Have noticed a pattern now.. from "Pakistan mein talent bohat hai" to
"Hum Product nahi bana rahe"..

It’s a good change I guess. Puts the onus on coaching at the age group level, which we need to prioritize. We need to start from scratch with the next U16 batch and give them top notch technical advice. Any later than that and it’s too late.

sports people generally tend to adopt common words, like pakistani cricketers use the word "avail" a lot, however ive hardly ever heard pakistanis in other fields use it as commonly in minglish. historically "all credit goes to the boys" was pbly the first meme worthy recycled statement.

fwiw its pbly the less harsh way of saying paks youngsters are not as talented as everyone thought.

Pakistan cricket talent is being badly exposed. Trust me, this is not the talent we used to witness before 2012. Since then, I have not seen any genuine cricket talent emerging from Pakistan. Trust me, it's alarming and worrisome.

Yes and 2012 was the day misbah took over, I hope people connect the dots now

It's not about Misbah; it's just about the system we have in the PCB. Same old system, no innovation, no development of players, no preference for domestic players. Now, see a top domestic performer, Sahibzada Farhan, is not part of the squad, and a league product, Usama Mir, is playing. Babar is stubborn regarding being an opening batter. Instead of investing in Mohammad Ali, PCB is investing in Zaman Khan, who is just a street cricketer.

It is about misbah 100%.

Before 2012 we didn't have thr issue on merit based selections. We had them under misbah and beyond misbah.

Fawad alam was your highest run scorer in 2014, but gets excluded from the cup due to YK tantrums, even though YK wanted to open and fawad was a no 5 batsmen.

Umar Amin and Imran Farhat random selections amd becoming vc etc?

Heck misbah after captaincy had completed control over all selections and coaching meaning he was the judge jury and executioner.

Misbah did whatever he wanted and had beyond stubborn views on white ball cricket often equating them to red ball cricket not realising their seprate formats. But atleast misbah succeed in one format.

Babar is just stubborn in general cause he's in it for the milestones, fame, league purchased and future job security post cricket retirement

He doesn't give a damn how many series Pakistan get humiliated In

Since the school of 2003 which included Hafeez and others we have been steadily going downhill.

I remember it was 1997, Shoaib Akhtar was making his test debut against WI. Wasim and Waqar guiding him. That was the calibre of player which was the norm in the 90s and before.

Can you imagine if we found another 19 year old tearaway bowling 155+ clicks. It hasn't been happening for a while. Lets take the bowling as an example.

How many got over 200 wickets in ODI? Not even 140 just to make this list.
