Not to rain on Pakistan's parade, they're obviously a lot better than us and deserve to be ranked #1 in the world with 11 straight series wins and a stellar year. It's more self pity at how pathetic we have been this year, and away in this format.

Never really paid attention to the stats until we lost this series 0-3, which was coming off that disastrous tri series which we lost to a weakened Aus team and barely qualified for the Final where we were thumped by Aus at home.

The team just looks pathetic right now, going to get a lot worse once Guptill and Taylor retire. The next generation don't look like they belong at the international level and there isn't much else coming through.

The NZ team hasn't looked the same force since the retirement of Mccullam. They have always been tough in their own conditions but look more vulnerable overseas

Wow shocking numbers. I think NZ use T20s to try out new players and different combinations. But still didn't realise they were in such poor form in this format.

These stats make Pakistan’s victory even more commendable bearing in mind how often we’ve played teams into form or given away wickets to part timers, lost games we were predicted to win etc etc
