Next steps in Shadab Khan's career progress

I have been even more impressed with him in Odi's then the T 20 series where he got more scalps. His leg break is really ripping which will make his excellent google even more dangerous. His control is quite good though still not what you want from your test spinner however nothing to worry about he will eventually get with more playing time, now the next step for him is to develop a good slider/topspinner which will be a very potent weapon for him when he plays on spinning UAE sub cont tracks. I could eventually see him doing the Jadeja role for Pakistan once he develops a good slider.

Shadab Khan is a leg spinner . . and he has the potential to be successful anywhere in the world and in any format . . He spins the ball, he has a well disguised googly . .

The next step for him is to make sure his stock delivery lands where he wants it to land 95% of the time . . in simpler words, get his leg spinner to pitch perfectly ball after ball after ball . . thats what has made yasir shah so successful in test cricket, and yasir isn't even a big turner of the ball

We can agree to disagree on jadeja being an ordinary bowler . .

Jadeja has great control, I completely agree . . but jadeja has taken all his wickets in India, WI and perhaps SL . . he needs a wicket that turns to be very dangerous with his accuracy and the ball that goes straight on . . otherwise, he has no ingredients to be a great spin bowler . . no spin, no flight, no loop, no drift . .
If jadeja takes the amount of wickets he has been taking outside of India . . on pitches that do not aid spin bowlers, then ill accept htat i was wrong . .

Where I do agree with you is that Shadab needs to improve his accuracy . . and it will improve as he plays moer and more

At the moment the next step would be for Sarfraz to give him a bat at a decent position.

He should work on his batting as well. He can be a great all rounder so he needs to remember that he has work twice as hard as normal player. we need him to at well as well.
