What's new

No Prime Minister in Pakistan has completed 5 years tenure

PPP was the first party to complete its term, hopefully this time we could get a pm to complete his term now.

Just shows the joke of a system we got due to the army.

Who can really challenge him at the moment? Zaid Hamid!!?:))):))):))) IK will most likely even win the next election.

Imran Khan has recently taken Panga with Army. Definitely created problem for himself.

That's what came to my mind too. Whatever pm takes panga with army, doesn't seem to turns out well for them.

Sad, you guys think that when i said we you thought i meant PPP. I aint like you folks who becomes a blind follower of a party that associates we with a party like you lot do.

By we i meant Pakistan, sure the selected pm completes his term its still a big deal for our democracy somewhat

So, everyone who supports PTI is a blind follower?

A blind supporter would be someone who supports a party regardless of their wrong doings and isn’t willing to accept mistakes made by the party. It’s fair to say that every single PPP and PML-N supporter is a “blind supporter” because they clearly ignore the corruption that their party leaders are involved in. Imran Khan isn’t perfect, he’s made mistakes but he’s not corrupt, and that’s why people will continue to vote for him.

Just look at the state of Sindh, it’s beyond a sh** hole.

Firstly, it shows your level when you repeat a pathetic cliche like selected when we know IK won and won well and if you don't know that, well there is no accounting for dishonesty.
Your heart is with thugs and crooks and your posts always point to the PPP and they make the Sharifs look like little lambs.

Major You’re very vocal when it comes to cricket players involved in corruption and are always against the idea of having them back in the team which is fair enough, if only you held those same standards for the politicians.

There isnt any clean politician. Everyone is after power.

Its like having amir, butt and asif as political leaders and you have to choose between them.

Thus, in that case i would choose the party that is not bound to control the public and actually has policies that make betterment for the public.

Pti is just focussed on corruption and not even on the lower level which affect us. He is looking for more panamas.

Nawaz shareef and co are only interested in making projects that are of no real benefits.

Ppp has good foreign policies, but there corrupt ways are no secret.

So let's have a name for the PM

How is Imran Khan corrupt though?

If the corruptions stops then surely it benefits the country and thus the lower class people.

IMO, people tend to vote for parties like PPP and PML-N because they think these parties are “against” the establishment, pro democracy etc…but we all know that PPP and PMLN are the least democratic parties. They’ll take an offer from the establishment in a blink of an eye just to regain power and forget about all the “selected” ** they were spouting towards a man who actually won democratically.

Your trying to argue pindoos with no idea of what they are saying or arguing for. They keep parroting the line about IK being corrupt but when you ask them to point any evidence they just run. We all know IK isn't perfect but compared to these mafia families he is like Mother Terasa

PPP never makes any deal with establishment, never ever.

Corruption is a wide term used by the PTI in the media. How corruption works is only understood by people who live in Pakistan.

Imran Khan goes after that corruption that helps in scoring political points. LIke Nawaz Shareeef is corrupt look at the panama case blabla.

Real corruption takes at govt level, the people who will do you work agaisnt some money. That corruption isn't tapped after. Thats the corruption that affects the people directly.

At top level, you catch Nawaz SHaref as being corrupt, now what? They dont focus in fixing the economy and every excuse they got is that oh the last party did this and that.

Bro, I have lived under PPP, PMLN and PTI, you know the funny thing? Not a single one of them started a bus system in Rawalpindi-Islamabad. Not a single one of them wants to run buses on the main road. There idea os providing busses is first making expensive ddedicated tracks as flyover and then place buses on them. BRT, Metros these are only made just to show public look that is PMLN thing or a PTI thing.

There are so many problems that no party looks out or cares about. Everyone is after promoting their party and nothing else. They all want power

Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid said on Sunday that Prime Minister Imran Khan was not going anywhere and will complete his five-year term in the office.

Addressing a press conference in Islamabad, the interior minister said that the misunderstanding that Imran will be ousted should be cleared as he was here to stay.

The minister criticised the opposition, saying the opposition leadership was digging its own grave.

"The opposition has been saying since December last year that Imran is going to lose power, but it should clear any misunderstanding that it has about Imran Khan," Rashid said, adding that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government will complete its term.

"Imran Khan is lucky to have got such incompetent and useless opposition," the interior minister claimed.

The remarks by Sheikh Rashid came amid a standoff between PM Imran Khan and army chief Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa over the appointment of a new ISI chief.

In a notification issued on October 6, the ISPR had appointed Gen Nadeem Anjum as the chief of the premier spy agency, but the PM's Office did not issue a notification over certain reservations.

Talks between the two sides are underway; however, there hasn't been any headway till now.

Rashid also criticised Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz for bashing the state institutions, including the chief of the premier intelligence agency. He said it was "foolish" to call out the chief of an institution the way Maryam did, adding that the army shouldn't be discussed in public places.

According to Rashid, "Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif's departure to London [for medical treatment] was planned." He said that Nawaz was shedding "crocodile tears" while sitting in London.

Speaking about the hike in petrol prices, Rashid said there was no doubt that Pakistan had a high inflation rate but the government was facing these challenges with strong resolve.

He claimed that the Pakistani rupee went into a nosedive against the US dollar due to the situation in Afghanistan. He said the global spike in oil prices also resulted in the price hike in Pakistan, but the PTI was making all-out efforts to control inflation.

It may be noted that the government increased the price of petrol by Rs10 on Saturday, after which petrol prices touched Rs137 per litre -- a record high.
