Wow, Balochistan have such a boring squad. Only care about seeing how Akif Javed and Amad Butt do

The production quality looks top notch for a domestic tournament. Mike Haysman commentating is great!

Really nice to Mark Haysman Commentating, I'm guessing he was meant to commentate in Pak vs NZ series.
It's a shame for PCB live stream to not have speed guns.

Im pleasantly very surprised by the production quality, pitch, outfield and general atmosphere. Its great to see pitch and outfield matching the modern era flat wickets.

Baluchistan looks to be the weakest team on paper with not many genuine batsmen.

Actually never mind, they are showing the bowler's speed now. Zaman Khan from Kashmir (a Malinga like action) just got a wicket

What is the point of playing oldies like Akbar ur Rehman. He isn’t even from Balochistan

I guess all this setup was done for the nz series which they have decided to utilize.

Cant understand the thought process behind picking 3 of your world cup spinners in the same team.

Nawaz could have easily been accommodated in Baluchistan

Chairman Ramiz saying we should be playing fearless cricket and Akbar rehman is 2 off 11 in a T20!!!!

Akbar Rahman is not a T20 player and its just pathetic seeing him being picked. I dont understand the regional selections its full of bias and the results are there to see.

No spectators is very embarrassing

Well there is a sprinkle and maybe later on for second game more. But PCB have charged Gate prices as well as following COVID protocols so it would be difficult to get crowds before it used to be free i believe

Whenever I have seen Nawaz play, this guy most of the times performs well. Very consistent and reliable player

Shadab bowling crap as usual but these players aren't good enough to capitalize

Shadab doesnt have to use all three spinners for their full quota.. rauf hasnt even bowled yet . I think Northern have the best bowling attack in tournament

I feel like this six team system is really not working right now. It was supposed to give us more competitive games and better talent on display but all its doing is blocking new players from getting any kind of opportunities to showcase their talent at this level. Where are players like Hurreira, or Arish Ali Khan or other members of our last under 19 batch? And if an under 19 national team player can’t get a spot in a domestic side then where is the hope for the rest?

That’s why we have 2nd XI’s.

Pakistan doesn't have enough talent for 6 teams but people wanted 18 teams.

How many players actually got a chance to get the promotion to the first 11 after the tournament got finished? I don’t see any performers from that tournament in this tournament.

Don’t they have a tournament starting on the 28th September for the 2nd XI? I’m sure performances from those games would allow players to come into the first xi.

The opener for Balochistan played all matches in seconds.

Zaman khan has also played all matches for seconds

The opener for Balochistan was their highest scorer in 2nd XI last year but he has completely failed.

he failed in the seconds too this year..although he is the highest scorer today but that doesnt say much

Pathetic Captaincy by Shadab bowling Imad in 18th Over when you have so many pacers to bowl yet

They recently had an association tournament but no one got picked for their senior sides despite some good performances on display.

Rauf bowled well however he bowled at lower order batters. Amad didn't had much strike in last few overs that tells the story how bad the lower order batters were in even rotating strikes.

At half way mark Northern should be able to chase this quite comfortably.

Balochistan 139/7 in 20.0 overs

Really enjoying the broadcast and speedometer back for the National T20 after years is a pleasant surprise.

Its afternoon of a working day and just the start of the tournament. Not many domestic T20 tournaments start with full capacity if any to start with. We will see that 25% capacity better covered as the tournament progresses and especially in the evening matches during weekends.

Haider Ali with a majestic six. The guy pulls off sometimes incredible shots.

Thats top batting so far from Haider Ali, taking Amad Butt for 17

Haider Ali looks so good when in touch. But I would also like to point out how bad is Balochistan's team, a complete miss match.

Haider Ali at 1 down in WT20 gives us the "x factor" we need for the tournament.

Veteran Asif Ali allowing other youngsters to bat ahead of him and get some practise. #selflessMan

Anything over 140 and our domestic batsmen look like club batsmen. They love bowlers like Umaid Asif and Amad Butt

43* in 20 at the end .Give credit where due ok.

He has scored all his runs like this, sky a few shots early on , in domestic cricket nobody is gonna catch or even try to but when he plays the same shots in intl cricket players gonna catch and he is gone for single digit

It is not that hard to predict, even after so many games that he played in intl cricket yet they select , the IQ of the selectors and coaching staffs in Pakistan are very poor to say the least.

A pretty comfortable 6-wicket win for Northern [140/4] in their game against Balochistan [139/7]; Haider Ali remains not out on 58*(41) for Northern whilst Akif Javed impressed with 1/27 in 4 overs

Easy game for northants. Balochistan seemed like they were getting back into it but then with the dropped chance of Asif game was gone.

Sorry, but I can’t. He played some good shots but he had luck on his side today. Should’ve been out on 2 after skying, how many times have we seen him do this?
