I asked my cab driver today and he says there is gossip from the Pump employees that they've been told supplies will be slower and there will be rationing. Nothing official so far though.

We are buying Russian, now Iranian, Saudi, American and many other available source etc. We are not dependent on single country. .
I'm more fear about LNG rather than oil. .. as of now no shortage for anything.

India is worried more about LPG than oil. Oil can be purchased from Russia and Iran. India can supply medicine and medical equipments to Iran for the oil purchase

Those agenda articles create unnecessary panic even exacerbating situations.
It is creating unnecessary panic among citizens which the likes of you want.
There has been a change in the norms as refiners and dealers stopped giving credit to retail outlets which delayed supply in non-state owned petrol bunks. Added to this, the panic driven buying itself creates 2-3X demand to the normal situation which makes the bunks dry early.
If the petrol availability really shrinks, we will know in the future but as of know the situation is panic-driven rather than supply driven. Which exactly brings to the point of narratives.
