Was born in Yorkshire before moving down under as a kid.

All the pressure is on the selectors at the moment to pick talented youth and in my opinion it is extremely likely they will respond by dropping Burns for Renshaw and Voges for Handscomb

It is a low risk move. If he does well, great; if he fails, it won't be the first time.

Australia badly need an opener who score runs beyond proper flat tracks with not an inch of spin, swing or seam.
