I am reading in this thread that there are 1000,000 soldiers in the valley, that alone tells you that the place is in some form of lockdown despite all the tourism good news media being pumped regularly for a while now.

Although might be better to have 1000,000 less soldiers and just a handful of intel operatives instead if this is the result of such heavy handed military policy.

Im just curious that india army uniforms were worn by these people. Waqf bill issue going on.

And than this event takes place and they start blaming Pakistan for it

100 people killed in balochistan by indian funded bla, but we were told by indian posters that the fact there county provided healthcare to terrorist is not wrong.

And this place is a remote one which is 6 kms away from Pahalgam know as Baisaran. There is no road connectivity there you have to go there by foot or via horses. How can security be so complacent? Isn't it shocking? Security or JK police should have been posted there Instead of resting in their camps watching reels.

All your theories have no proof and are nonsense, but Kasab was real, he is Islamic terrorist, came from Pakistan and killed 100 people. You better change your DP and tribute this victory on occasion of the terrorist attacks against India.

Those Islamic Terrorists definitely had support from local Muslims. Without help from local residents, they couldn’t have bypassed the security. It’s a huge lapse from a security point of view.

Whether someone's in uniform or part of a so-called guerilla movement, killing civilians with no means of defending themselves demonstrates nothing other than the depths of their depravity.

It's sad seeing how toxic the discourse has become after incidents like these or the trainjacking in Balochistan last month. You surrender the moral high ground defending terrorist actions depending on the religion and nationality of the victim, period.

Ultimately Hindus, Muslims and Sikhs of SC must learn to accept each others' differences. There's many countries in the world where communities have differing interpretations of history, different cultures and faiths yet still coexist.

People can fantasise about nuclear war, a second Partition, removing minorities etc but when the emotions simmer - Pakistan and India will still share the same neighbourhood. India will still have an enormous Muslim minority within its borders. Therefore it's futile to continue with this neverending bloodletting and mudslinging.

No I don't think so there was any local support because it affects Kashmir more than anyone. I have first time seen such attack on tourists and while kashmir is with the innocent tourists

Without help from locals, it wouldn’t have been possible for them to get that far. Do you really think they came freely without any support from fellow Muslims? Lol. Local extremists don’t care about how this impacts Kashmir.

This was one the peacefull place in Jammu and Kashmir. It was total Intel failure and some of local Kashmiri help these Terrorist to enter in that area. It was definitely major failure .

People's like shah bare lying about Indian security forces personal deployed in Jammu and Kashmir . He said 10 lakhs security personnel are there but In 2019 when India abolished the article 370 , that time maximum deployment were there and number was aroun2.5 lakh and These including Ladakh ( Lac) also. But after that india reduced security personnel around 1 lakh in entire Jammu and Kashmir plus Ladakh.

They didn't teleport to the attack site did they?

You are claiming they are from Pakistan and were helped by Indian Muslims. So they must have had help to evade the army at border etc that's where the 10000 came from puttar, it's a simple question.

Like what kind of help? This place is far away from locality and there isn't any local population there. What will locals do there? We hope there is a fair investigation to this and whoever is responsible is dealt severely whether local or not.
Yes locals helped in bringing injured tourists on their back towards hospital which is 6 kms away from this spot but you won't mention because that doesn't suit your agenda

Brother don’t fall into this rabbit hole again. That’s exactly what these terrorists intended to create by these selective killing of Hindus. Inciting hatred against the local peaceful muslims who has nothing to do with it. We should point at the Police and army who are responsible for this. They had only one job to do and they completely failed at it.

Few bad apples will be found in every community. But that doesn’t mean we paint them all bad.

There are few tea stalls there but not much. The point I'm making that tourists visit there frequently and there should have been security provided and such attack could have been avoided
 
Watch this space, you will see more and more Kashmiri Muslims coming out in anger against the separatists and terrorists in the coming days.

This is 2025 and not the dark days of the 90s when the leaders had fooled the people into hating the GOI. Today’s Kashmiri may feel awkward speaking positively about Modi but deep down he knows he’s better off in Modi’s rule and all the developments that Modi can and will bring to the valley.

This attempt at hitting the Kashmiri right in his stomach will backfire royally.

Religion based terrorism is something else. You use the term loosely to hate on muslims but you have no idea what religion based terrorism is.

Religious terrorism is linked with the sect that is followed.

These lashkars etc are just names, their ideology is not back by any sect or religion..

Did indians not support that attack or not?

Indian posters here justifed healthcare, act as their spokes person and even tried to paint a positive picture that look they are letting balochis and other civilians go.

Now think about if i made such a statement that these Pahalgam terrorists spared women and children.

Both the Indian and the US Constitution guarantees the right to good health, even to prisoners .. even to bad people. Maybe it is different in Pakistani jails and prisoners get tortured to death there with no medical care gauranteed. Hope Kulbhushan Jadhav is safe.

Someone also pointed out that while all this was happening, there was literally no sign of any security at a tourist spot in Kashmir. No police, no army, nothing which is pretty shocking given how sensitive the area is.

So, honestly, it really comes down to just two possibilities:

India are incompetent: This would mean that the security system is so weak that anyone can just walk in with weapons and bombs, and no one’s there to stop them. The police, army, and other forces might’ve just ran off after seeing what's going on

It was an inside job: The other possibility is that the whole thing was allowed to happen. That the security forces were told not to step in, to just let it play out.

Either way, it doesn’t look good on India and it raises a lot of questions about what’s really going on behind the scenes
