And now that PP'ers have started saying '3 maidens - we need to push on'....Farhat has played and missed at 2 wide ones outside off stump - could have nicked both
 
I thought we as Pakistanis are always going for victory. Going for a draw doesn't help, because 9/10 times, when teams look to save the match, they lose. We must think positively, although you are right in a way, it is too early to say whether realistically we can win or not. However, if we can get say 60 runs more by the end of the day, and be 110/0, we stand half a chance!

maidens are not good since Malik and Farhat will try to play fast
 
Boys we are not attempting to win this match. At this moment in time the aim is to play for as long as possible. We do not want to play defensively and should try to score runs at a given opportuinty. As of now the sole aim is to save this test macth!!
 
51 in 21 overs is not bad....maybe they should have played like this in the first innings?
 
I dont care if we play out another 20 maidens as long as we dont lose a wicket!!
 
Did anyone notice the sillly mid off jumping and then rolling on the pitch. Im sure we'll see alot more of that...

pakistan should keep the run rate at 3.2 to have a chance in last 30 overs
 
I thought Malik was a goner there!!! Didnt see the nick onto the pads myself!

Having looked at the replay - I would go with my initial reaction....OUT!
 
Again, Malik could have been out, coming down the track like that. I think Malik has become bogged down.

And now we get a wide, maybe the run rate is picking up, I dont know how we got 5 runs off this over so far!
 
at the moment the run rate is not a problem

but if they play like this for another 40 overs then the chances of winning the game will be over
 
sri lanka did the wrong thing

they should have declared 50 runs early
 
Whatever, this sucks, now Younis has to make a double hundred for us to have a chance
