They can now try underprepared greens like the ones they are preparing in domestic cricket for years , select the best performers from domestic cricket on these pitches and unleash them against B tier sides like SL , WI , BD even NZ and I am pretty sure Pak will win , for A tier sides we simply need better players in order to compete and in the mean time we can create dust bowls against Eng , Aus and Saf and it just might do the trick.

not really , you had them 54/8 & let them score 163 , then on not a crazy pitch failed to take a lead after being 119/4 , moving forward you had them 145/6 & but let them score 244 . Raging turners work when you have couple of batters who have good defensive technique. Else its a lottery.

Better to have slow turners. But to take advantage of that, you need really good spinners.

If Pak are determined to go dustbowl route then pick playing XI accordingly.

This match they effectively played with 9 players - Abrar is not test class bowler and Kashif bowling style is not conducive for these wkts. And neither offers anything with the bat.

Pick in their places either a pacer who can generate reverse swing and a quality fingerspinner or pick allrounders like Nawaz/Wasim Jr/Faheem who can atleast contri with the bat and hold end up with ball.

Domestic cricket should always be about variety pitches to give exposure to all type of players.

When you play on such pitches, you have to accept that every now and then, you would lose a Test especially if you bat second.

PCB needs to stop scheduling 2 match series because it leaves no margin of error.
