There’s been plenty of talk over the years about world cricket’s “Fab Four” in Tests—but is it time to talk about Pakistan’s T20I Fab Four? After the recent home series against Bangladesh, it certainly feels like we’re witnessing the rise of a new, explosive core of young batters who can redefine Pakistan’s approach to T20 cricket.

Enter: Saim Ayub, Sahibzada Farhan, Hassan Nawaz and Mohammad Haris — a quartet that oozes intent, aggression, and unfiltered flair.

  • Saim Ayub continues to impress with his fearless strokeplay at the top. His timing, especially through the off side, is a treat to watch. With each game, he's showing greater maturity and smarter shot selection.
  • Sahibzada Farhan’s comeback story is remarkable. Once out of favor, now he looks like a complete T20 package — powerful, composed, and consistent. His ability to rotate strike and then suddenly unleash a flurry of boundaries makes him a serious threat.
  • Hassan Nawaz, the wildcard of the group, brings raw power and unpredictability. He’s still ironing out the rough edges, but the potential is massive. His six-hitting ability is already turning heads, and he's showing that he belongs at the top level.
  • Mohammad Haris, the pocket dynamite, remains one of Pakistan’s most entertaining players. Whether it’s a lap over fine-leg or a thumping hit down the ground, Haris brings an x-factor that’s hard to ignore.

All four had a fantastic series against Bangladesh, combining for rapid starts, electric energy in the field, and fearless cricket that thrilled the home crowds. It’s not just about individual knocks — it’s about the vibe they bring together. For a team often criticized for playing outdated T20 cricket, this Fab Four is flipping the narrative.

Could these four be the foundation of Pakistan’s next T20 revolution? Let’s discuss — who impressed you the most, and who do you think has the biggest future in green?

Khwaja Nafay will soon add more firepower

InshaAllah Shahzad Ahmed also develops into a gun batsman for us too.

All of these guys are pretty new on the international stage but yeah, they are probably the guys we can call fab 4 atm.

It's too early to say based on one series that too against Bangladesh. :kp

I am also getting this gut feeling and it’s not based on this series but their overall aura and past seasons performance and just sheer intuition making me believe that these 4 can change any game outcome single handedly , it’s just the feeling I used to get when Ajmal and Umar Gul used to bowl in T20s for us.

Sadly no star bowler in our team right now.

They must add Usman Khan in place of Khushdil , play him for 10 consecutive games in T20 and we will have fab 5 instead 4.

I think we must withhold our judgement until series against some big side abroad.

Young cricketers doing well is always a great sight for a true cricket fan, no matter what country they are from. I wish them the best, hope they can draw confidence from their performances and do well in the future as well.

Pakistan’s back to being an unpredictable force in T20s

This is the thing

You never know, they might smash the living daylights out of a team like Australia or England in some random game. That element of unpredictability had totally gone recently. You could easily predict a Rizwan 5 runs off 50 balls at number 4.

There is a fearlessness in this new unit which is scary. That have shown it they maybe inexperienced to do it on a regular basis but when it’s their day they’re quite a dangerous unit now. Very youthful. I think if they can just raise the fielding standard a bit they can contend for a semi finals spot next year in WT20

They are looking good thus far.

I also think Fakhar has a place in the XI.

Pakistan's top 6 should be --> Saim, Farhan, Fakhar, Haris, Hassan Nawaz, Salman Agha.

many are trying to down play Pakistan's performance vs Bangladesh saying its a weak team
but here is how world beaters like Rizwan and Babar perfomed vs the weak bangladesi's in the last 5 years

This thread is the very reason why we don’t create real superstars anymore. One good performance against a 2nd string bowling line up of a team like Bangladesh and cheerleading is at full flow. Give them 1 year and see where they stand. Remember they were awful in NZ and that was not that long ago.

I agree with Ayub & Haris. I still think it’s a bit early for Nawaz but I like the potential he has, specially against spin.

Sahibzada Farhan is an interesting predicament, he is good against spin specially with the T20 World Cup in Sri Lanka he is useful. However, he isn’t long term for Pakistan

Personally I would keep an eye on Maaz Sadaqat as a prospect & potentially Qasim Akram.

Pakistan may be a terrible ODI and Test team. But they do have some decent talent in T20's. Their bowling though seems to fail more often than not, but when they get it right, can surprise a few teams.

What even
Then there is fakhar and saim too so they should be dropped too??

Or m nawaz to be drafted back too.

Is it too difficult for you to understand that this performance is good but not exactly the final frontier. No no but some players performed like this 5 years ago..bro grow up and see what people mean when saying this is against bd because we have seen from time to time how farhan holes on in the air against proper fast bowlers.
