It is easy to say these things in hindsight

It was a 160 pitch. We could have scored more but for brainless hacks in the team; Farhan and your favourite Haris. Better sides like India and Sri Lanka might have chased this down.

spinners won the game for us today which is good to see

Good fightback shown by the team despite defending a modest total. Afghans were just too pathetic with the bat. This was not a 66 run pitch
 
More than Final Trophy , I think this win will help Pak get over Nerves they have had against Afg game in game out. This was one of rare dismantling handed out by Pak to Afg . If we come across them again in Asia cup , There will be scars
 
Solid revenge from Pakistan after the last Pakistan/Afghanistan match. MOTM performance from Nawaz. Gave them some important runs with the bat and had an incredible bowling spell. Ugly pitch for the final.

I think there are still legitimate issues & concerns with Pakistan's batters but for today, lets just savour the victory.
 
Those who were saying Hesson is doing injustice or has something against Shaheen for not picking him against Bangladesh series have got their answer now.

Shaheen is the best pacer for Pakistan and even Hesson thinks so. On a spin track Shaheen was the first and only pace bowling choice in this important game.

Contrast that with the horror show before—losing 80% of games, getting slapped by USA, and praying against Ireland. So what exactly are we rioting about—winning too much?

Afghanistan in these conditions aren’t mediocre . Remember how Naseem saved you from embarrassment in Sharjah , imad in England . Malik in Dubai . Asif in Dubai , then embarrassed you in CWC 23 . So this is a big win

People acting like beating Afghanistan in Sharjah is some gully-cricket warmup. This is the same side that’s gone toe-to-toe with Pakistan and lately done better in ICC events. Under the great ‘Rizbabar era,’ we either got bullied or escaped via one-man freak heroics. Two back-to-back thumpings in a week? Sorry, I must’ve missed when that was normal.

This should be pretty obvious. In Sharjah, on a rank turner, ide rather play SENA team.

We can take some confidence bro but realistically India is far ahead. Will always back my team though, ive seen some crazy moments as a Pak fan so hoping that one or two players have a freakish day and manage to get us over the line. Miracles can happen but India is far too strong in batting and bowling.

This series was tough for us here in Sharjah, but our focus was always on preparing for the Asia Cup. Of course, we wanted to win, but the bigger goal was preparation.

(On Asia Cup) As a team, we’ve been building well since the Bangladesh series. We’re in good shape, and I believe we’re fully ready for the Asia Cup."

They can’t compete if the ball isn’t spinning for them, and if it’s spinning….well Sri Lanka and Bangladesh have proper spinners for these conditions too!
 
Verygood win, Pakistan just need to sort out their wicket keeping issue and replace Saman Mirza with Abbas Afridi then they could be a force in heir form.Asia Cup,, providing Pakistan opners get their form.

He deserves some appreciation for somehow being able to secure a decent coach after the mess they made with Kirsten and Gillispid and for responding well to Indian pressure.

However he deserves criticism for listening to Aqib and other fiascos related to domestic cricket.

I think he has learned his lesson to not trust leeches like Aqib and other ex players. We will see more professionalism going forward.
