To be fair this is not true because once the T20 format became a thing Pakistan was actually one of the most lethal teams. The real issue is a lack of talent in the country. We like to think we are talented but a lot of these guys lack any hitting ability. We would probably have more success if we had an entire batting line up of accumulators because this is what Pakistan actually has a lot of and they are good at it. These hacks are not cricketers

He seems to have decent T20 record. He could be tried as a keeper in t20is.
He should play more FC though.

We were one of the most lethal teams because we picked proper players back then. They were all ODI and test players playing T20. They had their basics in place.

Now we pick players based on 3 sixes hit in PSL.

First class cricket is dead in Pakistan because of T20. No one wants to play it and board hasn't incentivised red ball cricket.

All of the best players in T20I'S have lots of FC cricket behind them or come through a very solid system
 
Afghan batting is weak. They have not shown they can even dominate even UAE bowling. So 140 will be defendable.

Atleast for asia cup and t20 wc we need nafay who is better player of spin than haris. Haris can comeback on flat or bouncy pitches
 
Shaheen is so easy to bowl against. He can hit pace but any bowler just needs to be smart enough to bowl slower ones because he is so brainless.

They really believed that Babar and Rizwan were holding them back in T20s, and the current players are good enough to usher a new era in T20 cricket for Pakistan.

I can only laugh at how unintelligent these people are.

But there is light at the end of the tunnel as they've defended 140 or less 8 times so far.

The FC structure that was present before Noon League came around was actually very good and also high quality. The regional format where only the best players from each region were selected really helped improve the cricket in the country.

This current format with so many teams is an absolute joke and it also completely destroys the quality of cricket because we get useless hacks masquerading as batsmen smoking around playground quality bowlers. Then you have some super excited posters here make threads like “Flanah, is the next coming of Virat Kohli, there is so much talent here”

They are best when required run rate is low, they are good at not throwing their wickets away and taking it deep.

As if babar and Rizwan would have done anything better only difference would have been the wickets - score would have been in the same range of 140-150 with 4 or 5 wickets down.

Its actually a high-value shot for him that does work, though probably not on this pitch. He doesn't play it like SKY. He plays it more like a sweep against spinners
