An extremely unimpressive win to say the least. Outside of Shaheen doing well with the bat & bowl, there was almost nothing else to be positive about. The batters aren't just mediocre or bad, they are downright rubbish. None of them have any ability to bat against spin on tricky pitches.

Shaheen pace was up in that match too and he was bowling around 140 quite often. A big positive sign for sure.

7) Muhammad Nawaz (Current) = Imad > Azam. I believe Nawaz has surpassed Imad now in t20 batting. Bowling wise imad is better.

10) Faheem > a washed up Amir due to batting ability + bowling he contributes more to the team. Same can be argued for Khusdil.
11) Abrar and Sufiyan > Any trash spinner we had prior.

What did he say that was so wrong though? He didn't say throw them out of the team. Pakistan's batting powerplay has not been good in a single match and they have always been playing catch-up as a result.

If you even get 50-1 in the powerplay, which is not that hard to do, you set the innings up for an above par total.

The openers need to do better, just like the middle order.

In T20s you don’t wait for the bad ball to come and you are suppose to hit 3/6 balls no matter what and in the end its about how much successful you are when attacking which defines your skill level.

I agree with you that they should go after for few deliveries in every over .
Yesterday manjrekar pointed out kushdil went for a big hit and got caught more than 15 metres away from the boundary. Hasan,Fahim dismissals in india match shows they are not even thinking about the right shot for the delivery. One commie pointed out pak batters should be flexible to play the shots anywhere otherwise its easy to tie them down.

Nah...this is a unique opportunity to watch an India Pakistan game in a (somewhat) neutral environment. I'll be in New York/New Jersey for the game. Need to find a place that has a good vibe and a nice mix of supporters.

I've watched an India Pakistan game abroad once before but that was 20 years ago in Thailand in an Indian restaurant where the crowd was a bunch of extremely partisan Indians and some bemused Brits & Australians. Laxman scored a century and we easily won the decider of that 5 match ODI series in Lahore. Fond memories.
