The target is good but Pakistan shouldn't be worried too much. Its very much gettable considering the slow surface.

Pakistan has done well to restrict NZ given Mitchel, the set batsmen was there till the end.

Devon Conway: It's not a bad total for us. The way we went in the powerplay, we thought maybe we're going to be a little bit under par. But credit to Daryl the way he went and batted, got us to a competitive total. It sort of skidded on, slightly not as much bounce as expected. They bowled well in the powerplay and restricted us. The guys were saying that the slower balls were gripping, so we are going to try and use it to our advantage.

I think they have a par score. It’s sad but this Pakistan batting will struggle to chase anything above 140 on these grounds.

They did it perfectly since 2021, they should be able to do it now as well

Exactly.

The thing makes you extend a winning chase on such a pitch is a long partnership. Stay calm and build the partnership with lots of singles and doubles - and the rest becomes easy.

If you panic and go for fireworks from ball one then you shoot yourself in the foot. There is one short boundary on the square, otherwise, it's a HUGE ground. Very hard to hit sixes.

Remember the 2019 WC final. Sticky Lord's pitch - took a herculean effort from Ben Stokes and a monumental slice of luck just to tie.
