I just checked and the last time Babar scored a boundary was in the 9th over...how is this considered acceptable?!
 
The way Faheem has struck those last few fours, I’d honestly rate him ahead of Babar right now.
Babar should probably come in after Shadab and Faheem instead of walking in earlier.
 
Green🟩 got beaten black◼️and blue🟦. But it's okay, he can come out later and tell us how Usman Tariq is throwing the ball

Babar should probably come in after all 11 players have played so he can bring water bottles to them
 
If management thinks they need tuk tuk from Babar in the middle then what was he doing in the death? Take him off in the death then. When you have Nawaz and Faheem to come.

Saim scored 56 off 37 balls in the PowerPlay

Babar scored 50 off 36 balls

Sure there is room for improvement but if he hit a six on the next ball his inning would’ve been the Saim as Saim who played in the PP

Let’s not be too hypocritical Rana and other agenda based posters. This is also the highest score against Aus btw

Babar played in the last 10 overs and didn't attempt a single boundary...how is that acceptable?

However this 50 has its benefits. They cant say “Babar can’t bat at 4” now. Babar and his agenda peddlers had a better case if Babar got out early again today.

You have to understand cricket to really judge this innings from Babar. He didn’t have a single boundary in his last 18 balls, and he batted through to the death.

Nafay and Shadab are responsible for getting us to this total, Babar was pathetic and kept nudging the ball even in the end overs.

I agree there was room for improvement but his performance was alright. His numbers are good today. If you say he played bad than you have to be consistent and say for Saim who played in the PP. Team result was good . Both played their part and will win the game

This won't work in a knock out game...when you are looking for every new batter who comes in to be the aggressor while you tuk tuk to a 50 with not playing a single shot in anger in the last 10 overs of the match, says a lot about you...
 
Man these Australian are proper minnows vs spin if pitches are similar in world cup and teams play 4 spinners Australia will be buried pakistan has exposed them big time.

But in the last game Saim smashed 40 off 22 balls when was the last time Babar did that? And don’t bring up Ireland, I’m talking about proper teams.

I don't think he has in him to play any other way...he's a very limited player...anyone without taking a risk and the opposite batter taking all the charge can make a sedate 50...nothing to praise here

He was doing reasonably well. Moment he reached near his milestone he did nt lift his bat with intent to push the SR. Its not the ability , its a character. He did same thing playing for Sixers , Played 3 Dot Balls because he was near his fifty but Smith Shut him down good in next over. His fans are already calling it perfect anchoring where others play around him and he does nt need to do anything. Kind of a role no one gave him
 
Looks like Aussie team's uber is waiting at the door to take them to the airport. They cant get out fast enough.

There is a reason why opposition captains want to keep him out there in the middle and eat up deliveries...we lucked out in that all the batters who came after Saim were not looking for singles and hit consecutively big when they got a chance

With Pakistan it's rarely about how good or bad the team is, it's all about how confident they are feeling. Complete vibes and feels team
 
I'm an ex Babar fan...I want him to do well for Pakistan but the more I see, the more I despair. Either this man is very selfish or he is a very limited player who only has one gear..on the other hand, players like Shadab, Nawaz, even Faheem, have come back with a purpose and actually improved on their comebacks

He was great from 2018-2022...on par with rashid but he didn't have luxury of playing 90 percent of matches against associate nations and stat pad.....

These are really bad players of spin, and Pakistan has a quality spin bowling attack no matter how many Indians try to downplay it.

You can bring the best Aussie team here and they would struggle on these pitches.

The game was over after 4th wicket of Stoinis. Even with him being there, AU looked out of sorts.

Even pakistan team competed better in australia than what australia is doing here even though pakistan don't play bounce well this is proper minnow thrashing even zimbabve given better challenge to pakistan.
