Pakistan Army wins gold in UK's Exercise Cambrian Patrol

A team of Pakistan Army has won a gold medal in Exercise Cambrian Patrol held in the United Kingdom, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Friday.

A total of 131 teams from across the world armies participated in the event known as “one of the toughest patrolling test for military personnel”.

RAWALPINDI: An 11-member team of Pakistan Army has won gold medal in the world’s toughest Cambrian Patrol competition held at Wales, UK, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said Friday.

The team comprised soldiers from a battalion of Northern Light Infantry from Gilgit-Baltistan, the ISPR said in a statement.

On the whole, 134 teams from 31 countries participated in the two-weeks-long competition that started on October 8.

Cambrian Patrol is a mission and task-oriented patrolling exercise of 48 hours, the statement read.

The participants cover 60 kilometer distance carrying 25 kilograms during the exercise.

Yeah Pak army has shown it's mettle many times by winning this competition. This is why those threatening to attack Pakistan always remain in their barracks.
