As someone who's been away from cricket for some time (and from this forum), I want to know what you guys make of Pakistan cricket at present. I know that the PCB has granted Misbah-ul-Haq more power than anyone else in our history, barring Imran Khan; has that turned out to be a positive or a negative?
I've heard of some new faces who are doing well for themselves, including the 16-year old Naseem Shah but with the recall of Hafeez and Malik to the T20 squad; are we simply recycling the TTFs or do you feel that enough is being done to blood in the youngsters?
Most important of all are the results that the team produces and despite the recent dismantling of Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, the team has been poor overseas and some of our most experienced players are going through career-lows. Is this a case of a team in transition finding its feet or a deep-rooted mediocrity that will prevent Pakistan from ever challenging the likes of India, Australia and England ever again?
